My uncle is mentally disabled and this has always been his absolute FAVORITE song! Every time we have a family event, I always make sure to request this song to get him up on the dance floor so he can dance his heart out. He gets so into it and we always love seeing him so happy. The basslines, the lyrics, the songwriters, the producers, musicians, the singers had natural talent, energy and creativity! Remember roller skating to this song as a kid in the 1980s inside of the Empire Roller skating Rink in Flatbush/Crown heights Brooklyn! The music was so authentic! The music, movies, fashion, culture and the overall human condition was simply awesome in the 1980s! This song alone is a absolute R&B masterpiece! Respect and salute to the "SOS" band!
