First thing, love the variety of stunts rather than just jumping a bike or car on a building (some jumps are still unique here also). Love the wild and wacky and dynamic stunts that the setup is quite unknown (most of part 1 demonstrates this, have to keep watching the rest). There was just some thoughts on Just Cause 5 with your question that I was thinking about. I think the Just Cause Franchise needs a bit of a new identity going into the next installment. Leaning into something new besides what is normal for these games of what you are doing or what is happening. I think gameplay wise customization of stunt vehicles and at the very least be able to create simple stunt maps would be an interesting facet of the game, and also rewarding that somehow. There probably could be a lot of fun little multiplayer game modes based around this which is also something the game should have. Lastly you could change up the setting massively. Why not start leaning more into fictional universes based less on real world landscapes? This would open up more on what is extreme about the game. I feel the game is sharing a little too much with GTA in terms of what you can do (especially with GTA's DLC), that a whole new level of third person arcaneness needs to be explored. I got into Just Cause at 3 and felt at the time it was really different from everything, but even though 4 opens it up more it really isn't enough for me to call it a new experience. I wouldn't say my perspective is the gold standard on what should be done, just the idea of new directions to go in.
