Just get the ZVE1, forget about the A7C2 and Nikon Zf for Content Creation for Youtube

I know I will be hated because of this video, but hey it is my channel and my opinion... What do you think?

Just want to say that I agree with you. My content creation style requires me to shoot multiple few second videos and nothing else. I don’t need 10 min recording at a time so I am one of those people where ZVE1 is very suitable. Great video!

It is a matter of brand preference for some, for example, I have always taken photos with a Nikon since the year 2000, it is just gonna be a hustle and a lot of getting used to using a new system :) and for picture quality I prefer Nikon :)

I got the Canon R6 mark II because it's a really good hybrid camera. ive contemplated switching to Sony because of the Dynamic Range but I wouldn't do it for the ZVE1. Maybe the OG A7Siii that's the oneI would get if I ever switched to Sony.

You nailed it at the end. I am torn between this and the A7CII solely due to the 🔥 risk. My use case is 20 minute recordings in a Uk studio (not super hot) then run and gun broll clips that it’s obviously great for

Because of overheating the ZVE1 is of no use. You cant even do a streaming because of that.

i agree adding a fan either externally on tripod or putting that ulanzi shit on it is an extreme annoyance rendering it terrible

Thanks for commenting! Totally get it, if a person needs a camera with no overheating as powerful as this one they will get one with a fan. For me 11 dollar easy fix and I have the same image quality of a 3500 camera and I only paid a little over 1800 dollars plus 11 dollars for the fan.. So for me that works. For others I totally agree and the A7iv or R6II may be a better fit. But I sold my A7iv and I like this camera better. Just sayin that is for me, not for everyone depending on their end use case. What's your ambient temp? I only want to record 4K/24fps but in a hot environment like 90°F. Would this work?

If you use 1080 probably no problem, 4k just put a small fan on it, I have a video on that, for 11 dollars at walmart I bought a 6 inch clip on fan and I shot 4k 60 for almost 2 hours no overheating! Just a quick note, Currently for our church I use the ZVE 10 on a tripod as it is cheaper, and you can get the APSC lenses cheap compared to full frame lenses and it is aslo small and easily portable as well if you are on a budget for the Church. never would i recommend a new person to buy a $2000+ 12 megapixel camera with no viewfinder crappy screen that overheats. whats its speciality then? video? its gonna overheat, photo? 12 megapixel not good, no viewfinder. how many people need 4k120p? very few. this is a fine second camera to anyone with a sony camera already. i'd rather recommend a dependable camera with viewfinder and quality screen that only does 4k60p, these they would use alot. for the rare moments they need 120p, 1080p is fine. add alittle sharpening and upscale to 4k.

Thanks for the comments. Different strokes for different folks!😊 I never thought I would recomend it either... Untill I owned it. Thought I would try it and probably send it back, but for me it is great. As I mentioned, it is overpriced I beleive, but so are many of the other cameras. Not saying it is the best for you, but overheating for me is no issue, I dont need it for Pictures, and I dont need a viewfinder. It all depends on what the end user is going to do with it. Obviously a photographer is not going to buy this, that is not what this is created for. Let me know if you would like to see some comparisons or have any questions and I will be happy to help!👍👍
