All 3 of you always have smiles on your faces, even when you’re cleaning the boat or feeling a bit under the weather. Obviously, you’re on a path where the deeper measures of happiness and well-being outweigh the mundane chores and the stressful moments. Knock on wood, as Capt. Mike might suggest. ✊ What is a sailor without a healthy dose of superstition, anyway! 😀 P.S. Having Camo around is a joyous blessing, too.

We all try to keep a positive outlook on things because what will be will be and you are better off going through life with a good attitude 😊 and Camo definitely brightens out day each and every day 💕

I'm from Eastern North Carolina. Glad you enjoyed seeing our wild horses. Thank you for not trying to pet them or feed them. We have a lot of problems with visitors trying to pet the horses or feeding them. Not realizing what harm they are causing or that they're actually breaking the law. Enjoy watching your videos. Looks like you three are having a lot of fun. I would love to be able to do something like that someday myself. Keep up the good work.

We loved seeing them but I have been around horses since I was little and actually own a horse so I know what they are capable of...especially wild ones so I’m happy to give them their space! I’m glad you are enjoying the videos we are having a blast! So many incredible place to explore in this country..and world!

We did hear that there are some other wild horses along the east coast, but didn’t make it to any other places on this trip!

I was 99% sure you were saying it wrong. I've been going down there for years just to scuba dive out in the Gulfstream. You got lucky that you did not get hurt by one of those horses. Two weeks ago a woman was trying to get a selfie and one of them kicked her so hard that it broke a rib. When a report was filed she was fined for touching and molesting the horses. Supposedly their signs around there that warns you from touching the animals. I don't ever remember seeing the signs and my wife just said she doesn't either. That area down there is absolutely wonderful. I think it's more that the people there are super friendly and they just make you feel comfortable no matter where you go. Just discovered your videos a little more than 24 hours ago and I'm really enjoy watching them.

I’m so glad to hear that you found our channel and are enjoying it!! And yes there is a Beaufort in North and South Carolina and they are pronounced differently! That would be a cool place to dive, especially with all of the ship wrecks along the coast! And I have grown up with horses and own a horse so I know my way around a horse luckily and know better than to touch a wild horse. And I agree we loved the area, everyone we met there was so nice and welcoming

I have so enjoyed your journey South to my home State of North Carolina and hope you have enjoyed your time spent in many of my favorite Coastal towns. My wife and I moved from the waterfront in Southport in 2006 and now call Wilmington home and so enjoy the time we spend at Wrightsville Beach. Our favorite NC Coastal town is Beaufort and we visit there as often as possible and highly recommend the fairly new lodging location, The Beaufort Hotel, it simply a delight to stay there and they have a wonderful dining location on property, the 34 Degrees North Restaurant & Bar. We have throughly enjoyed all our dining experiences there.

We had an amazing time there! We got to some beautiful beaches and met so wonderful people along the way :) thanks for the recommendations of places to check out in the future, we will have to keep those in mind. We really enjoyed Beaufort as well. Such a beautiful town with tons of fun water activities all around!

Continue south and visit the best Beaufort! SC. If you do, sound you horn as you pass under the bridge at Port Royal Landing Marina. Live at the Marina 4 months a year. Fantastic restaurants in Beaufort and lots of history.

Stay tuned for some of our next episodes because we are making our way further south and spoiler...we definitely blasted the horn as we went under the bridge lol the 2 boys on board love to give a loud honk under every bridge...oh boys hahah

Another good one. Couple of things, of course the boat is magnificent but my word without a crew I’d never be able to keep up. Our 28 is enough for us and our pocketbook lol very comfortable for cruising Downeast. You guys seem to have a handle on the maintenance though and your dad looks so at home with the systems and in the engine room that I know you are in good hands. Have fun, looking forward to the next video.

It’s a TON of work you are right about that! Really is a full time job! We are so lucky that my dad is an engineer and knows all that he knows about mechanical things, really is a game changer as far as taking care of and maintaining everything. I can now see many perks of being on a slightly smaller boat, less things to clean! Lol

I'm Sure you know by the time you left shackford banks your not supposed to allow your dog to run freely on the beach. It destresses the horses.

actually we had no idea and saw no signage about that, good to know!
