Thank you for covering this. As a woman the existence of Andrew Taint makes me feel less safe on a daily basis. His toxicity is reaching actual children. There was a video of a teacher upset about how there were little 11 year old boys in her class, spewing that toxic rhetoric to the girls. Those girls will grow up hearing from these types of boys and men that they’re fat and ugly, dont have the ability to do anything, cant think for themselves, and that they have no worth. Its sad and disgusting to me and makes me feel anxious for the future. If I have kids in the far future, I want to make sure they learn their worth, and treat others, regardless of gender or sex, with the respect and kindness they deserve.

My coworkers from my last job (a man and a woman) actually said that Andrew have very compelling arguments and is helping this new generation know their own self worth. That and the government is actively trying to antagonize him by only making his worst moments viral, and 'hiding the truth' by accusing him of trafficking. It was insane. Not only that, they said that a woman should know their place and is actively tarnishing their family if they sleep around or do sex work. Actually we should shame what people do in the bedroom. Why do you want to hit your partner and see her cry? Why is it mostly women who get hit by men? Would you want to hurt your partner? There has to be something wrong with these people
@Vinnyc112 жыл бұрын
While that is probably true, it’s probably not a good idea to shame them if they actively go out of their way to avoid doing such things with people who don’t consent to aforementioned actions, and if they’re willing to cease if something goes wrong or exits the comfort zone of their partner (bonus points if that’s never an occurrence). It’s pretty fucked, but if both people consent to it, and it’s not illegal/harmful (in a very bad way since we’re talking sadism and [probably] masochism), then there’s not very much of a good way to go against it.
@PlayerZeroStart2 жыл бұрын
BDSM is a semi-normal fetish, and it happens both ways. Some people really just get sexual pleasure out of hitting and being hit. As long as both partners are consenting and are going about it in a way that ensures both are mentally and physically safe the entire time, there's really no reason to shame them over it. Now, if one of the partners isn't consenting, or the pair is going about it in an unsafe way, that's when you should start taking issue with it.
@bil-v6h11 ай бұрын
@@PlayerZeroStart surely there is some mental trauma there that those folks(sadists and masochists) have experienced in the past. I doubt anyone has those tendencies naturally. Idk if my partner told me they have that particular fetish either way I would be concerned.

I know that a lot of what Tate says is for shock value because he wants the money and attention , but a majority of his followers don’t know that they’re setting themselves up for failure if they follow what he says. I like Jimmy and his videos, even if I probably wouldn't agree with him on a lot of things politically. Glad he did this video. While there are legit men's right issues with fair treatment in the court system, it has sprouted up many toxic terds like Andrew Tate that shouldn't be supported.
@limbothytimothy2 жыл бұрын
I think we shouldn't try and downplay people like Tate though. In isolation, his message is toxic and could lead a lot of single, dispossessed, and frustrated men down a dark path. There are characters adjacent to him in the "Redpill" space who genuinely do not view women as equals, who teach impressionable young men to view women as objects, who all have substantial followings. It's dangerous and leads to these men forming toxic and unfulfilling relationships later in life, or worse, violent and abusive ones.
@LilPW2 жыл бұрын

@@limbothytimothy I bet you're more abusive than Andrew Tate ever was. It's always you guys pointing the finger.
@limbothytimothy2 жыл бұрын
@@LilPW I mean, that's how these movements always start - MGTOW on reddit started as a self-empowerment movement to try and make men less dependent on validation - it ended up turning ugly very fast and it wasn't uncommon for threads to devolve into sweeping vile generalisations about all women. Comments about all women being whores and sluts weren't uncommon. Women are not a monolith, across cultures, age ranges, you will find women with wildy different outlooks on social, political issues, and yes, dating. I mean I've been in a happy committed relationship for 6 years, but what do I know, hey? As for weird accusations about abusiveness, I was raised with two fantastic parents in my life and a loving home - I was always taught unequivocally that if you treat your partner as your equal and love them unconditionally (funnily enough that doesn't include beating the shit out of them) then you will have a great time with it. Relationships aren't for everyone, and some people need to work on themselves before they're in a state to be in a fulfilling relationship. There's nothing wrong with that message, and if that's all redpill was, I'm cool with it. The sad thing is that these spaces often become fertile ground for frustrated men who have had bad experiences with individual women to do zero self reflection and blame all of their issues with women's "flawed biology", which with no alternate of opposing viewpoint can lead down some truly wild rabbitholes. I hope you're doing alright, feel free to DM me if you want to chat about stuff. Take Care

20:40 I very much disagree with this. Debates don't operate on the assumption that both sides have equal weight. The purpose of debates is to find truth; to convice the audience why you are right and your opponent is wrong. Debate bros will not change who Andrew Tate is, but perhaps a fan of his or a skeptic will see him get tripped up in a debate and realize he's full of shit.
@duckexe692 Жыл бұрын
Nope. Debate is about finding common ground on opinions. Opinions can not be objectively right or wrong, thats why we have debates to lay every point and factor on the table and weigh out which side has more pros than cons, not necessariliy being right. I don't like AT.. I really just don't like his demeanor and general attitude overall.. however.. I do believe he does have some gems among the coal pile .. a broken clock is right twice as they say.. he is a bit overly extra guaranteed.. but I also feel that.. a lot of the things he ends up saying gets judged and disregarded in a certain way almost immediately just because of everyone's initial preconceived notions about him.. so even when he does say something sensible.. it's treated like hot garbage and everyone does their best to go against it.. when if the same words were said by some one else it would be held as almost law. I mean you even judged him because he "admired" Hitler.. and then said why doesn't he use a comic book character instead .. when you already know he doesn't like comics and fiction and admires warriors and conqueror.. ors..ors? .. .. That sounds weird in my head.. but anyway .. Hitler may have been a bad man evil blah blah but he still was a conqueror. just because a person is bad or evil does not mean you cannot learn from their strengths.. their strategies and methods are still effective no matter their own philosophy.. so saying he is Nazi sympathising is a bit strong.. .. although I'm only 4 min into this.. so let's see how this goes..
@twistedshadowsaf2 жыл бұрын
I have listened through the whole video.. I am one of the people that just sees the clips in passing.. again .. my final opinion.. he's exploiting people.. in the very least.. the sex trafficking is a bit of a grey area.. it's coercion but he isn't holding a gun to their head and coercing.. intent on the word is easy to play with.. hence why there are lawyers and everyone likes Saul Goodman and he seems sleezy.. because he plays with the intent of a word and the literal phrase.. the 60/40 thing while sounds super dodge.. most society already plays games with percentages like that.. your own boss exploits you.. you exploit clients and services.. we don't know the full details of the agreement these women have either .. so again.. grey area. but these women running a full fledged scam willingly is exploiting easy men/prey .. ATs programs and memberships are also exploiting easy and gullible and as this guy said... insecure men.. so I do believe AT is just exploiting people .. that's his game .. men women equal opportunity to make money off of them ..

he plays and shouts a big game .. and that attracts people who get caught by the glamour and no Fs given attitude.. of course that gets admired.. we all desire to have more.. and to be able to tell people off without a cause of concern for our future stability and consequences.. he is sexist.. and as with the Hitler example.. just because you appreciate or agree with someone on one thing they said or did does not mean you now follow every word and action diligently like it's the word of a god.. you don't even have to change your personality or persona because one sentence or philosophy of this person you dislike or even one you may like.. doesn't mean you now agree with every word and action they do.. my philosophy.. listen and try be willing to find the lesson wherever you can.. so you can learn to see for yourself where a person takes an idea too far or too literal.. or identify hypocrisy.. even in people who are overly over and apparently dubious and one could even say fiendish

@@twistedshadowsaf how a man who devotes himself to reading the quran , spreads awareness for body positivity , attempts to instill eastern values in a gradually crumbling western world , pushes children to respect and protect the women in their lives, can gain so much hatred towards him is beyond me , tate has opened my eyes to ideologies i never imagined , ive quit smoking weed , ive deleted all forms of social media , ive began eating heathier , everything these bothers have said has done nothing but better my life and thousands of lives of other young lost men in this world , legitimately fuck anyone who hates these men

Imagine being a low social value class then roasting a guy who fights for the lower class against the higher class, now imagine being a man roasting Tate for speaking some truths
