🚨I’ve seen people concerned for me over the “I make 4 figures in the $10,000,000 studio” comment and to be CLEAR that was a joke! I was just surprised by how much podcasts make and wrote that in as a throwaway line. I think most ppl know how absurd the idea is that I could have 2 employees, and a $10,000,000 studio if the channel actually made a few thousand bucks a year, however I wanted to clarify so no one worries about me.🥺 If I ever need money I’ll just sell the flying lambo. ANYBODY looking at this kind of a deal needs to have an attorney that specializes in Intellectual Property, and contract law. If they don't, they're an idiot. You can ALWAYS have your attorney look over a contract. If the person offering the contact says things like "It's just the standard contract" or "It's just boilerplate" that's a serious red flag. ALL IP contracts should be looked over by an attorney the talent hires before signing. If the media company is unhappy about that, it's likely time to walk away.

They kinda have no choice. That's the beauty. Either you do the interview and attempt a cover up at least, or you let Coffee completely run with the narrative. Either way, it's over.

@@Whatever122t Also Dunning-Kruger. They think they can pull one over on him. They learn they can't.

People think they are different and they are smart enough to pull the wool over his eyes

Note to self: if I ever bleach my hair like a d-bag and decide to rip people off, ignore Coffee’s invitation to explain myself.

The problem is that these people think they’re smarter than everyone else. So If you’re enough of a narcissist to do the former, you’re too much of a narcissist to not do the latter

I hired a bunch of my friends and over paid myself and my friends and the money dried up! Typical scumbag management.

Most management and admin jobs are glorified email and calendar admin assistant jobs. Too many pencil pushers overpay themselves and underpay the talent, i.e. the people who can deal with cleaning toilets, climbing ladders, breaking their backs, and/or getting shit on by the public without support.

Imagine being asked about the company missing 4 million dollars in payments to their clients and you reply with a sales pitch on the vision of said company.
