Just How OP Can You Make DEXTERITY in ELDEN RING

Some Notes:
Idea was inspired by @HappyDays - #1 Terraria Creator.
Some music was taken DMDOKURO - The greatest game soundtrack maker of all time.
A Simple Explanation of what I'm doing:
I'm region locked for 5 areas in the game and for each area I have to find the most op weapons according to that class.
I can only use weapons in which the highest required stat to wield is DEXTERITY

It’s only good for the raw damage scaling so it’s really only useful in ng+ when you have 2 of them for max power stance damage but the bleed isn’t the strength of the weapon at any point

@@user-lu4hd3zd8y I was thinking the same thing about the bloodhound's fang but he did kind of preclude it's use by the way he said the requirements. He said the weapons had to have a higher dexterity stat requirement to be considered. Bloodhound's fang actually has a higher strength requirement even though it has a higher dexterity scaling. requires 18 str and 17 dex.

What I learned from this video is that the erdtree guardian's drip is out of this world and that is now my quest. This video is a little older and I think damage scaling is more important than the minimum requirements, and I think for a video focusing on dexterity you focused a lot on arcane which I don't think fits the theme of the video very well.

Ye the swordspear is a sleeper dex weapon, it's got insane dmg on a high dex build my first playthrough I ran it for the looks but the ar for a pure dex build hits in the 800's pre-buff and it swings faster than just about any other halberd

if you already have fire on the ground then it doesn't change much because they don't stack due to immunity frames so it's better to go R1 into R2 if the boss remains still

​@@Munithule While he did use a bleed strat, he didn't really focus on arcane as a stat he only increased it to boost bleed damage on a dexterity weapon without arcane scaling, I wanna see him max out arcane as his main focus and see how he deals with bosses especially since late game bosses have bleed resistance.

​@jhchnc, that's an arcane weapon. Dex does best with lightning affinity and should be associated with keen/lightning. Powerstance typically favors dex especially on lightning.

Lightning scales off of dex so the higher the dex the stronger lighting is.. Spells, AoW, weapons, skills, consumables(grease), throwables, etc

If you ever play NG+ bleed builds, two Godskin Peelers with Seppuku on both with a decently high arcane stat has the highest bleed in the game. I used to use this with a faith-arcane-strength hybrid build with 40 arcane and had around 140 bleed buildup. I bleeded every enemy that could take it 4 times in one jump attack. My build was the bullgoat set, the peelers with seppuku, claw talisman, great jar arsenal talisman, the Alexander shard (The one you get from Farum) and the Erdtrees favor +2. The talismans just give more equip load and make you more bulky.

Great video. Just a little advice for future runs. Just go to Altus Platuea to trigger Radahn. You don't have to do any quests for it. Get the two halfs. Takes literally 20 mins at most. Always nice to see new people getting into the series.

Hey buddy. When you saw weapons with strength on them it did not mean it scaled with strength. That was stat requirements. The guardians swordspear and grave scythe are both weapons you can MAKE keen affinity so they would be dex only

he said in the beginning of the video that his criteria for dex weapons would be those that had dex as their highest stat requirement. changing a weapon's affinity does nothing to it's stat requirements, so a Keen Grave Scythe would still require more strength than dex to wield.

I had the guardian's swordspear with a keen enhancement to have it scale with A in only dex. It did 300 damage bc I leveled it up +300 due to my den and the scaling on the weapon and even more by putting an enchantment on it, like lightning, holy, blackflame, that kind of stuff

If you're playing on PC and have issues with pieces of armor apppearing invisible or crashing your game while equipped, try verifying integrity of game files. That should fix the issue.

I good build is red lighting with raptors talons and just above medium armor and use the vykes red lightning to lower your weight into light load. I use charged attack talisman, erdtrees favor +2, the lightning damage charm and the old lords talisman. The ash of war is preference so I just use bloodhound step.

If I may suggest, it would be better to go with the weapon that has the highest primary Stat (dex in this case) and highest scaling. You passed over treespear because it required one more strength than dex but it's scaling were E and C respectively making it a far better dex weapon.

A starting Samurai gets 12 points in Strength, and two-handing a weapon effectively makes it 18 points, because of the 50% bonus, so yeah, you could have used the Guardian’s Shortspear as soon as you picked it up.

Dexterity can be pretty powerful, but I think doing it on the basis of a fresh NG run isn't exactly as powerful as it can get. A lot of Dexterity weapons, like the Raptor Talons, Ornamental Straight Swords and Shamshirs, benefit from successive hit buff talismans and physick, where the earliest you can get one is the Winged Sword Insignia in Liurnia (which isn't even the best version of the talisman). Millicent's Prosthesis is next, where you can get it as early as Altus is you end Millicent's questline early. But then, the best successive hit buffs in the game are the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, at the end of Millicent's questline in Haligtree and Thorny Cracked Tear in the Consecrated Snowfield. Because you can only get either Millicent's Prosthesis OR Rotten Winged Sword Insignia in one playthrough, you won't have the best successive set-up until NG+. So, me being a nerd, this video doesn't actually answer the question of "how OP Dexterity can be). Worth mentioning, successive hit buffs can benefit any build that hits fast, such as a Magma Blade build, Eleonora's Poleblade, Cold Raptor Claws, Occult Nagakiba, not just pure Dexterity.

Id like to know that the twin blade talisman is hardly useful while two-handing a twin blade Because of the mass amount of hits that twinblades do in their combo when two-handed, their damaged and affinity buildup are halfed while two-handed, so that extra 45% on the last hit is only going to bring it up to about 73% of your default damage Also the best armor you can possibly get early game is from farming the banished knight in the castle, that set has near identical stats to the tree sentinel armor, and better stats than the crucible night armor And this is not a pure dex build, this is a dex-arcane build

I got a character called "Les Dewit" and made him solely to beat the Grafted Scion. After that, I just made a Str/Dex build with an Uchi/Naga setup, occasionally using Waki for parries and Cross-Nagi for range, while wearing Confessor Drip with a Skeletal Mask for an Black Ronin look. I proceeded to beat the whole game without summons until I reached Malenia, when I accidentally summoned Latenna, but that made the fight harder. She just acted as Phase 2 Malenia's bloodbag for 10 seconds, but I beat her. Gosh, Elden Ring is cool. PS: Imagine a Hunter with dodge rolls and Rakuyo, but every hit has bleed buildup. That's basically what Les Dewit is.
