Florida has had a non-stop inflow of people from northern states for as long as I've been alive, so this is not news to us that live here. Partly due to the weather, partly due to relatively cheaper housing (Though that has worsened over the last few years.) and partly because we're the retirement capital of the country, especially with all these goddamn boomers retiring. Honestly it sucks to see some of my old stomping grounds become overdeveloped strip malls and cookie cutter residential suburban hell. The reality though, if you're young, if you're a worker, if you're a young family. This state is pure trash unless you're a well off northerner, selling your million dollar home to get a bigger home here in Florida for less than half what it costs up north.

Curriculums are designed at the border of education and there is no known board of education in Florida pushing CRT. DeSantis is trying to gin up hatred in America and nothing more. I personally do not agree with CRT but than again, I have never read a book teaching it so maybe its not all that bad. The issue is that 99.999999999% of the people against it have no idea what it even is. In the USA we were built through some very very ugly times. We should not rewrite history to sugar coat it as DeSantis is now doing. That is just Unamerican and fake. Teach the kids the truth and let them decide with their own free will. Forcing the schools to remove teaching is wrong.
