Coming from another teen mom, I reiterate everything you said. You are so well spoken and inspirational and what I always want people to know about teen motherhood is that it is so possible to still live a good and prosperous life. My daughter is 15 now, so of course I also don’t want to glorify teen motherhood, but don’t let people villainize you just because it happened. I would love to see a book from you in the future 🖤

Your advice on sustainable weight loss is spot on! I especially appreciate the focus on balanced nutrition and gradual changes. It’s so important to emphasize that healthy weight loss isn’t about quick fixes but building habits that last long-term. Consistency really is key!

Jennica, you truly are amazing! Thanks for sharing about mental health and how you're choosing to heal during this time, now that you are in your 30's because often we don't realize how much has happened and haven't fully coped or healed from it. Sending you so much love and I'm with you on the healing process also in my 30's. The vulnerability is real when you deal with anxiety and depression. Always cheering you and AJ on.🏖️🐚🩴

Beautifully said! I love how you emphasize the importance of self-awareness and healing, especially as we reach new stages in life. Acknowledging and working through past experiences is such a powerful step toward growth and mental wellness. Jennica’s journey is a great reminder that it’s never too late to focus on healing. Wishing you all the best in your own journey, too!

School counselor here… several of my students are expecting. What wouldve been most helpful for you from someone in my role?
@emilyelectrikk2 ай бұрын
Patience and flexibility!! I had my daughter in 10th grade and I wasn’t doing my homebound work to the school’s expectations. It’s a lot to adjust to, but I was always an honor student. My mom ultimately dropped me out without telling me, but I re-enrolled my junior year and was still on track because of my past achievements. I also had a couple of staff members within the school reach out to me about their own teen pregnancies and their kindness and lack of judgement still sticks with me today, 16 years later.

@@emilyelectrikk, you are so blessed to have gone to school where you did! A few of them got scolded by the principal and magically weren't there the very next day! (I still have no clue how they found a replacement so fast, but he was perfect!)

This was great! I could have watched and listened to another hour of you answering questions and just speaking on your experience and thoughts on life. I am proud that you have taken your health as a priority. It will definitely make your forties easier. I am 46 and have felt like I am falling apart since I turned 40. I also totally agree with videos of regular everyday moments of your little kids voices. My son was 18 months old when we moved to Kentucky so he learned how to talk and had the cutest southern accent. Just him counting to 10 and the way he said fiiiive was the best! He lost it because we moved when he was five and is now 10. Anyway just wanted to say you are amazing! Love your videos. Keep living because you do it well ❤❤❤
