i like the distinction they make of whales having a "different language" because whales aren't fish, they're mammals adapted to the ocean, it's a fun detail at least i think so

That is cool, though I'm not sure if that explains the turtles and birds. Then again, Dory only started "speaking whale" when she realized he probably couldn't understand her, so maybe most of the other animals are bilingual.

@@CJCroen1393 if we want to try and think real deep into this then I suppose a good explanation of why they make the distinction with whales, but not anything else is because most of the turtles and birds we see are ones that would probably interact with fish in one context or another fairly regularly and we mostly only see them in the context of talking to those fish sparing a couple throwaway scenes so bilingual does make sense, though we have officially crossed into almost definitely thinking deeper than the writers intended territory, my original comment already half assed bordered that line to be fair

When I first watched this movie as a child I thought it's just the flash of light but then when I saw it a few more times, I figured out it was a scratch on the part as his hand. It made too much sense then.

Finding Nemo is one of those movies that doesn't have one singular most emotional scene. There are many emotional moments all throughout, and they are all as powerful as the last.

I’ll never forget 8 year old me fast forwarding my VHS past the prologue for a while because I found it too frightening LOL Even all these years later, the prologue still makes me uneasy. Between the music, tension, and the shots of the barracuda. IMO one of the most terrifying openings in a Disney film. At least he got his desserts in Toy Story 4 LOL

One message I love from this film and the next one is Dory's ability to keep through despite her disabilities. Her "just keep swimming" is such a good message for kids with ADHD or problems with their mobility and capacity to socialise. She sets an amazing example on how never to let your disabilities affect you.

Fun fact, in real life when the female clownfish dies the male turns into a female, so Marlin should’ve gone on a gender change journey throughout the plot if we were 100% biologically accurate lol

The birds flying into windows is quite realistic. Hundreds of birds get injured from it every year and die 🙁

If you do react to Finding Dory, make sure to stay after the credits. There's a scene with the Tank Gang there.

The whale talking scene hurt my sides from all the laughing I did. My gosh, Dory is such a goofy fish. 🤣🤣🤣 I still crack up at the whale talk to this day. Which part was your favorite, Cody?

Movie Recommendation of the Day: Inside Out - A very EMOTIONal movie. Bad pun aside, it's a great film, you should watch it. Edit: So from the replies, I'm guessing Cody already reacted to this but the vid got taken down so never mind.
