I just discovered you and I love your channel and your teaching style so much!! I love that you teach all the parts of the song, like the baseline and such, rather than just the cords. You really capture the feel of the whole song and I really appreciate the time you put into this. You really break it down and I learn so much everytime I watch one of your videos. Interpol is my all time favorite band. Could you please please do a tutorial of the songs "Evil" and "Obstacle 1" by Interpol. I would reallyyy love to learn all the parts of those songs, especially the baselines because no one else teaches those as well as you do!!! I'd be so happy! Also, some feedback: It would be really helpful for me, and maybe for others, if you played and sang the entire song from beginning to end. It would be really helpful while learning to hear how the whole thing is supposed to sound and be sung, like the timing and transitions and stuff! I would really appreciate and enjoy seeing you play the song from beginning to end. I think I'd be helpful while learning, to be able to follow along while you play the whole song to make sure I am doing it right and capture the whole song as it's supposed to sound. :) Sorry for the long comment, I am just so passionate about guitar and excited to have discovered you! I enjoy teaching as many aspects of the song as I can, and it's nice to know it's appreciated :). I will add Interpol Evil to my list of songs! I saw them live during my semester abroad in Florence, Italy! As for playing the songs from beginning to end, it's a great idea, and something I've considered. I've made the decision to do a demo of the song at the beginning with one of each sections, so one verse, one chorus, etc. instead of every verse and chorus being included. What I could do is possibly play the entire song in the middle or end of the entire lesson/video, so that I could maintain this approach. I could also do this for Patreon. I'll figure it out, but I like the suggestion, thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate your kind words! It's so great to hear from people who are at all helped from my videos. I've never commented on a KZbin video ever in my life, but this video was just so sooo well done and is helping me so much while I'm trying to learn this song, it deserved positive recognition and feedback! I'm so jealous you've seen Interpol live, and in Italy of all places! I've been to Florence, Italy as well but have never seen Interpol live, it's on my bucket list though. :) And yeah, I agree with what you said. I was thinking maybe you can play the whole song from beginning to end at the very end of your tutorial. Like, after you show us all the individual parts, then you could perform it and show us how it should all come together! I would really appreciate it if you could do this whenever you do end up covering Evil by Interpol! May I request that lol? Oh I just remembered another thing I was going to add! It would be super helpful if you posted the corresponding guitar tabs and chord diagrams! Sometimes it's hard to follow your fingering when you're saying them so chord diagrams like posted in the description or even in the video off to the side or in a link somewhere idk. That would be super helpful for new learners like me!!! ❤❤❤
