I am also making a webtoon for the webtoon 2025 contest. I just wanted to know if using SketchUp for 1900 year vibes is good? Like which site do you recommend for 3d creation for buildings?

For comic backgrounds I recommend sketchup, compared to blender I feel it’s easier to use plus you can export the lineart. Tho I think you can do that with blender too, if you can get past the learning curve you can get really nice models from it. But for sketchup, there’s also a lot of premade assets in the sketchup library and on acon3d.com that help!

I’m not familiar with snaptoon, but I’ve been using the sketchup free website version. They look very similar I’ll have to look into snaptoon more! I see they also have models on acon, I’m currently working on another video about my experience using 3d backgrounds and acon that should be out in a few days, it’s definitely a learning curve but super convenient
