What I like about these videos is that I can make my own version. Personally I don't deep fry, so I might just bake or even squish them flatter and fry in a saucepan. I could make versions of this when camping too. Thanks for the idea.

People who are trying deep frying for the first time should know the risk of burn they are taking when deep frying at home. Should also keep a fire extinguisher near.

Short version (for anyone like me who works by the seat of their pants and who doesn't want as much detail): Stiffen mashed potatoes into a moist dough by adding flour. Use this dough to wrap cubes of cheese, small enough to wrap completely. Roll in a batter (pancake consistency) made with milk, eggs, salt, and flour. Roll this in breadcrumbs. Deep fry to golden brown. Looks really excellent! I could picture adding herbs to the breadcrumbs.
