Always loved his music and I feel like he never got the recognition that he deserved. We've lost so many greats, Johnny, George, Merle and he was among them. God must have a terrific choir with Jim Reeves and Marty Robbins in there too. God Bless you all.
@nancyhunt32773 жыл бұрын
You sound like I feel my Mother loved to dance and those were some of our favorites. Willie is still here Merle was on tour with him when he got so bad he had to back off and and soon passed Willie is a great song writer all the time but for awhile he was in concert played a little more to a crowd of young folks who stand around and on the dance floor. But soon after Merle passed he has put out a couple of new albums and what I've heard is good one you have to listen to, losing loved ones is something we all go through sadly, but he wrote the best song About getting through, not over. Sorry got off point. You speak my language, must mention Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. If you haven't listened to Merle an them doing a tribute to Bob and all his songs. George Strait and Alan Jackson have kept it real Country Music.

Grew up on Country and Western. Laugh at but i held to my roots. Ray, George, The Hag, Lefty, Hank Sr. we're the best. These new so called Country clowns can't hold a candle to these true Country Stars. Like George Strait and Alan Jackson sang, MURDER ON MUSIC ROW, these new stars did just that, they committed murder. Thankful the old stars stood up to them

This is when I was in love with country music and played pedal steel guitar full time. I'm not a country fan anymore. The last Opry show I whent to was so politicized it was disgusting. No fiddle, No steel guitar breaks, just rock and roll trash.
