What I love best about this series is that Rosamund subverts the 'romance' plot from a potentially steamy vanilla porn-ish thing--which would make Caroline more uncomfortable than she expected--into a real marriage. Even before the hinted consummation, Leo and Rosy are acting as a team, making peace, protecting the children, etc!

@@nhaedzwero43 I think "low magic" is usually less in terms of the type of magic practiced and more in the role that it plays in the story, meaning that usually spells and their effects could be easily replaced with some non-magical means of achieving the same outcome, being magical mostly for flavor and to add another dimension to the setting, without ever fully taking over the story. so from that angle, banishing someone to hell is allowed, but following a character who is in hell isn't. Also obligatory mention that the underworld of a fictitious religion may be cognate to hell but literally wouldn't be hell, since even with allegorical parallels it is still an underworld of its own designed within a wholly different religious context.

Wow what a ride!!! I had seen a few of these independently but didn’t realize until I saw the wedding plan out of context that there was Plot! I got so invested in everyone! It really is interesting how characters can have a life of their own, and how there is this interesting dynamic as a writer of “oh ho ho ho this is so deliciously angsty or romantic or full of miscommunication and unsaid things”. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire story and am even more motivated to get the book now. I mean, I planned to when I had just seen a few of the early videos on their own which speaks to your strength as a writer and to the strength of your execution of the concept! I think my favorite parts were Rosamund’s nice hair part, Bad Choices Arc, and The Writer realizing Rosamund isn’t over Hugo. I loved the masquerade as an example of all these bits of believability and realism interfering with tropes that, while I would have definitely enjoyed them, I was even more interested in the twists you introduced. Thanks! Like others here, I've watched each individual episode plus each compilation, and now the whole thing together. This has been such an enjoyable series.

Having watched this entire series 4 times now (ngl, I watched the entire thing through twice as shorts), I gotta admit that as it gets longer and the compilations get longer, it just keeps getting better and better and better. The expanding lore is fantastic, the character interactions are dynamic and real, and the voice of the author is strong. I'm so excited to get more of this stuff from you 8n this series in the new year. Have a wonderful holiday break!

What a lovely Christmas Gift, thankyouverymuch, it's just what I wanted! I sincerely hope that this holiday season brings you as much joy as you've given us.
