I think fantasy almost is an afront on the very real spiritual that people experience. You don’t need fantasy if you want to talk about experiences with demons and angels, it’s real. It’s literally a basic of being a Christian to be what is basically a demon slayer and to do more miracles then Jesus (That’s not sacrilegious, that’s something Jesus said we have the power to do when the spirit that rose our savior from the dead dwells inside us) see the book of Mark, start with Chapter 16. This stuff is actually normal, but never boring. You don’t have to be an official deliverance minister or exorcist, you just have to be a true Christ follower and spiritual opportunities and situation will come to you as you grow in relationship with God through Jesus and simply do as scripture says to do. The past four years things have especially ramped up, impart because so many people are messing with the occult and getting demonized, but also because the church (as in body of all true believers regardless of the teachings at the building you go to) are recognizing their authority in Christ to deal with the impossible as they see it’s not a battle of flesh and blood but these things are spiritual and prayer is so powerful that miracles are meant to be the norm, not the exception. My own dad got many life saving miracles. Why? Because God desires no one to eternally parish. He is now in Heaven, but he spent years destined for Hell and nearly went there many times. “ God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him, for God, so love the world that he gave us one and only son that whoever believes in him, she’ll not perish, but happy eternal life, but some choose the darkness and refuse to come into the light.” Read also John. The Devil doesn’t come looking obviously evil, he wants us to think of the spiritual things as cartoonish and be distracted from knowing the power in Christ that we actually have when we take time to know scripture and pray as it teaches us to pray.

This makes me want a book that's actually about this kind of story - in a fantasy setting, but with the focus on the family dynamics instead of epic adventures. I'm just thinking about a non-comedic version of that scene at his daughter's door: "So according to the prophecy, you're not the Chosen One, but who cares what some old stone tablet says? Choose yourself! Be your own Chosen One! The prophecy might not believe in you, but your mom and I, we do."

As someone who works in a Hospital Lab, you should a segment about how its super not okay for Brad to take blood bag and suggest they take blood vials. We have so many tubes of blood that just get thrown away in a week. Vampires could easily take that blood. If anyone takes a bag of Blood used for donation, someone gonna get in real trouble. American Red Cross is always running low on blood so i think that's something a vampire should be aware of.

I think this is the actual form of vampire veganism
@rabidfirefox8914
@rabidfirefox8914 3 ай бұрын
@@OGimouse1 Its really not veganism in my opinion. It's be more similar to instead of fresh meat (eating people) or solid blood bags (eating a steak) it's be more like eating various types of beef jerky. Like maybe the blood bag might be nicer to have because it's technically blood that could go back into a person and therefore of better quality, but it's also so much more guarded because it's needed for that aortic rupture that just showed up that needs 5 units now. Meanwhile the tubes of blood is like jerky, some of it's may be good but there is a lot of different spices and some might not be the greatest but are far cheaper and easier to get. I could see an administrator making a deal with vampires to take the blood if they removed the patient labels because it'd be cheaper than disposing them the proper way. Biohazard disposal is calculated by weight and if all the blood vials are empty, suddenly it doesn't weight as much and can save the hospital some money. Or the hospital could charge vampire for basically hospital trash. Blood specimens are thrown away in high numbers, blood bags are jealously guarded and needed. Brad should just take the 100 tubes that would have just gone to biohazard. It would be more helpful than taking blood from patient who really need it.
@areejashraf7413
@areejashraf7413 3 ай бұрын
Hypothetically, that could cause the Vampires to contract all kinds of blood-borne illnesses from those vials as they are often used for testing for diseases (HIV happens to come to mind-), and If that happens, then Anti-Vampirists will be vindicated that their discrimination is for 'a good reason.'

I wanna see this guy do a sci fi version. Let's say the family gets transplanted to some cosmopolitan alien world(probably by accident), and there's no way they can afford a way back to earth any time soon, so they make the best of it. One of the first alien friends they make is all 'it's not so bad! There's good education for your young here - you do educate your young, yes? Carbon based? Mammals? Yes! You'll fit right in!' and waves two of six arms at a group of varied lifeforms, some covered in hair, others without any visible face, and various configuration of limbs. 'See, hyuuu-mun? They look same as you, yes?!' Mum gets a job captaining a ship in-system(it's supposed to be a passive role to collect a regular paycheck, but she made an impression) so she's busy most weeks. Dad is the stay-at-home parent, and is frequently misgendered by that one neighbour who 'knows all about humans' but gets their information from 1950's commercials, or more recently Superbowl ads. They're convinced the Budweiser ads are propaganda by the new overlords, and the humans are actually refugees. Watch Dad trying to navigate holo-calls with beurocrats while he tries to get a 'vehicle for small family' licence, because they want him to get his eyes replaced with synthetic ones(he could go blind over time just going into orbit) or get a dedicated AI driver. Timmy gets in trouble for telling jokes at school - it's apparently a terrible breach of etiquette - so Dad has to talk down their city sector's head of education from giving Timmy the equivalent of a suspension, but it was a joke Dad taught him. Evangeline learns to deal with a reptilian 'friend' who has a mammal fetish. 'I know, honey. You thought they really liked you for you. No no...don't say that! You are so much more than a pair of walking mammaries and smooth skin! You're an amazing entire person, and if they can't see that then *they're* the {attempts guttural alien slur}! No, you're right, I probably shouldn't have said that... Just don't tell your mother'
