Just Stop Oil protesters in their eighties target Magna Carta

Two activists from Just Stop Oil tried to smash the glass case protecting the Magna Carta at the British Library on Friday.
The Rev Dr Sue Parfitt, an 82-year-old Anglican priest from Bristol, and Judy Bruce, an 85-year-old retired biology teacher from Swansea, entered the British Library at 10.40am.
After they tried to smash the glass, the women then glued their hands together, demanding an emergency plan to stop oil by 2030.

Unfortunately … until a viable alternative to oil is available it’s going to be with us for quite some time, electric vehicles are not the solution but they can play their part but only in terms of reducing emissions from fossil fuel .. unfortunately not everyone can afford to buy these electric cars and the logistics of providing charging points is proving extremely difficult if not impossible …
