Tomo's lessons on his website are absolutely awesome stuff, so far the best online guitar lesson I've looked into. And I've checked out quite a few. What really sets his lessons apart for me is that for some reason it's the only one where I somehow truly feel like I'm sitting across from him and we're having a lesson together. Can't recommend it enough.

Thank you, Professor Fujita. A very helpful lesson that has given me a ‘a-ha’ moment I understand now that I can play over a song in different levels by using this method: -find out the key of a song. -Then on the high E string easily work out where the intervals are (or just know where the roots are) and play triads for each chord change. -Then play different inversions of the same triad over the same chord. -Then solo using the scales associated with each triad. Very inspiring and revealing lesson. Thank you. Kind regards Gaetano

This guy is an excellent teacher period. Here is my problem. No one will HELP me learn how to play the guitar in person. Oh sure I can record full songs. Ive recorded many albums.... Ive also covered this song on one of my up coming albums. I do NOT play chords on the guitar. I play chords on the piano, I play bass and I play the lead on the guitar.... my problem with online learning is start to finish... no one has a "comprehensive" training course... one that will take you from day one up to... playing like he played in this video... lets say its 26 things you need to know about the guitar... a-z. Most people will teach you D though K but they leave out A through C.... or they start you on step M but leave out steps A through L... so what Im saying is I need training from start to finish... I have several guitar theory and training books. Im not a beginner but my playing is not getting better until I learn how to play chords. but the books are teaching chord shapes that you will NEVER use. I need a book, video or DVD that will show you what is commonly used from A - Z. from A to Z. I think Im not learning because im only getting bits and pieces instead of getting one step at a time then move on to the next step etc. I play ok but its not at this level at all.... you be the judge... how do you think this song sound? kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnixdIKdlsSXha8

Thank you so much for your continued generosity in providing these lessons. I love to your natural, friendly human presentation style. I love the honesty in how it’s not highly polished. These have lead me to subscribe to your guitar wisdom course twice. It has become a trusted safe place for me to return to and learn in more detail at a pace I can manage. That said, each time I sign up I need to stop after a few months because you provide so much to learn. 😂🙏🎸 Thank you. Keep well.

Your videos are the best! I started "playing" guitar about 3 years ago, but mostly just casually. I started getting real into (listening to) jazz/fusion about a year and a half ago and have been very determined to learn how to play jazz, but it's not easy. Your videos help make it seem less daunting for me, and I really appreciate them, and I'm sure many others do as well.
