Went to Target, got to the Transformers aisle, only ones left were Brawn, Wheeljack, and Ratchet. Got all three. Brawn is alright, Jackie is.. not great. His car mode is pretty good and the transformation is cool. I gotta say though. Ratchet is the best out of the three! His robot mode is absolutely bad-ass! Love him. Can't wait for Ironhide!

I just got all three through Amazon Prime, and I have to agree, Ratchet is def my fave! Funny, he is the one that has the most hollowness of the three, but that is forgivable considering the sculpt detailing is fantastic, he has the best articulation and the cleverest and funnest transformation! Can't wait to get Ironhide. And fingers crossed Takara or a 3rd party makes this version of Ratchet to a Masterpiece figure!

Thanks for this comment. I got Brawn and Ratchet and agree that they're really great! My biggest gripe with Brawn is that his gun peg and holes are super loose, so I'm barely able to mount it in robot/vehicle mode. What would you say your gripe with Wheeljack is? His vehicle mode seems awesome.

I had some trouble getting this Ratchet to cooperate during the transformation, so I turned to ever-dependable Emgo for help. Thanks a million, brother. I also wanted to say just how much I love this figure. Ratchet is a favorite character of mine, and this toy really does him justice, in my opinion. Plus, Ratchet's front canopy in vehicle mode reminds me so much of the little pods in the Diaclone reboot, which I desperately wish I could afford! I can live vicariously through Studio Series 82 Ratchet, and later 84 Ironhide. A black repaint with yellow front canopy glass and red accents would be a cool Diaclone homage for this mold. Anyway, thanks again Emgo, and take care, my friend.

Dude, I just want to thank you for making these videos. Every time me and my 5 year old son get a new bot the instructions are never touched. Not once, not ever. If we run into a problem he says we gotta watch "The Freaking Geek". And we will watch the whole video then give it a go. If it's still troublesome we go straight to the JTI video's. They are beyond helpful and are the 100% gold standard in all Transformer review videos. I wanna thank you and a little dude named Jamar wants to thank you. Looking forward to getting my hands on the Shock Warrior upscaled version of him. The upscale has qc issues from what I've seen but the improved paint aps and gap fillers make it worth it to me. It's already an excellent mold that I love so much.

The war on Cybertron must be rubble free if Ratchet can get away with that low clearance off the road, lol. Still I love this toy and I hope they do an Ironhide retool if they haven't already.

If you ever see this, I recommend you put the video on .75 or .50 speed. It helps you avoid needing to rewind and pause as much!
