The Lange One, Rose Gold 192.032--breathtaking. The JLC 4142520 is also stunning and what's more, it has the day of the week. This is my favorite complication since I often find myself forgetting what day it is!

Absolutely form over function, a moon phase without a date/calendar is even a bit silly (especially a very precise one) because you have to keep your watch in sync with the moon so you either have to keep it wound an running constantly or set the moon phase every time you wear it.

I have to go with your choice of the JLC. It really is startlingly lovely. I have to say though, one that didn't feature today is the Cellini. I know it's not particularly cool to like that line, but I can't stop staring at pictures of it.

omg so glad you covered this JLC instead of the MUT ahhhhh I can't decide between which moonphase I like/want more, the JLC master ultra thin in rose gold or the JLC master control calendar. I just checked the prices and JLC bumped them up 1k again! Although the MUT has an extremely clean dial, I do love the charm that the control calendar has with the jump between the 15th and 16th. The one semi off thing about calendar would be the gap between the day/month windows, kinda makes it look like eyes and the moonphase is the mouth haha
