I still don't fully understand how this works... I understand hydrofoil to a degree... And I've seen the ones that you have to pump to keep them up/going. But I don't understand how the wing is so effective at keeping it moving and up. Take 2:10 for example. She starts pumping, like I would think you need to do with a hydrofoil to keep it up, but it didn't seem like she needed to... Somehow, the wing is still providing lift? Even though shes not holding it in a sail/wind grabbing position... I want to go do this so bad!

Due to the fisheye lens you can’t see the 1-2 foot wind swell that she is riding. There’s three power sources at play, you got legs for pumping, the wing to harness the wind and finally the most fun one is swell/wave power 🤙🏼
