We, Australians are soo lucky to be surrounded by constant bird sounds, unlike most other countries in the world. When we zoom with our son in Memphis, USA, it is the first thing he comments on.....noisy miners, rainbow lorikeets, magpies, butcher birds, all adding value to our exchange. Regrettably, none can be heard on his side. May we always remain so lucky!

You know I've been on your channel for a while now and it never ceases to amaze me how you are with the birds. Clearly you have a reputation in the bird community because everyone is there to greet you in the morning. I laughed out loud a bit when you walked out to that mass of birds waiting to greet you. The crazy thing is that wasn't your whole bird family. Do you have an Amazon wish list you could share with us? Could be all things bird related. Thank you for cheering me up a great deal! I got & the surgery all right, but I'm very sore and puffy. I look like someone smacked me in the face, but good! The kookas made me smile. B Bitey can be quite the demanding little beggar, aye? Dwarfy is just so patient. Have you come up with a name for the baby yet? Gracious, those lorikeets are noisy! Your wood ducks remind me a lot of our mallards. Our male mallards have bright green heads. Well, now I have to wait for my biopsy results . Hopefully, they will be in by next week. In the meantime, I'm sleeping a lot, and eating when I'm up to it. Thank goodness for my little Cairn, Gogo. She keeps a very close eye on me. Yes, she gets to sleep in my bed! I spoil her shamelessly!
