Both Brennan and Zac break the rules of improv in completely opposite ways, and that's what makes the noise boys such a perfect team. Brennan is a "yes, but" guy and derails scenes to build up insanely built up stories and monolagues. Josh is textbook "yes, and" can play off of and play up literally anything, even after Brennan take the prompt in an impossible direction. And Zac can just shut everyone up with a single line.

Cumulus openly weeping over every single artifact might be my favorite Zac bit ever. He doesn't even have to say anything, it's just absolutely an absolutely masterful visual gag.

Everyone just puts a *liiiiitle* bit of their humor into every character they play, but I think Zac does it the most naturally

Zac truly does the most with the least. The smallest change in his inflection breaks a room full of hilarious people. What an icon

The way he was just completely immune to Raphaniel to the point it broke Brennan instead. Artful.

This is going to sound wildly precocious, but in my group of friends I'm the most brennan-like, and I totally understand why he can't contain himself with Zac. Because Brennan, even when he's not the focus, is always running through a list of ways he would approach a situation or get a laugh, and when Zac chimes in with something brilliantly funny it's NEVER something Brennan would have done. He just loves always being surprised by Zac coming at it from a totally different angle from him. I have a couple friends like that, where I couldn't hold the laugh if I wanted because I'm so delighted by hearing something so surprising and genuinely funny. I have that same incessant inner dialogue and even when I chuckle or find someone funny, it's rarely "out of left field" because it falls in the list somewhere.
