It looks like when the top part is added, that the stick end with the ball is “riding” on top of the slopes underneath. But when the sticks are shown beforehand, since they’re not able to stand upright on their own, the ball part isn’t on top of the under-slopes yet. It’s the only thing I can think of but it does look like that’s how it’s working since that’s how the sticks are moving (in line with the slopes underneath).

Gracias

@spy48636 жыл бұрын
Not sure but it looks like the fidget spinner rollers installed on the sides underneath the platform (2:19-3:00)are what makes the horses move up and down-the sticks that support the horses all have balls on the bottom (1:56-2:02) and when the sticks move over the rollers it makes the horses go up and down.

Just5mins Can I ask another one? It is possible to create an mechanical mechanism with winding key like in old clock or watch? The electric motor rotates the carousel too fast, and I want smoothness probably. I thought whether it is possible to use the musical mechanism from another old box or buy it on the Internet. But I don’t know how to calculate which mechanism I need. A box of wood or veneer will have a certain weight and pressure on the mechanism. I don’t know how to count them in order to choose the right mechanism. I know that you only make cardboard mechanisms and things, and you're insanely COOL about it! But maybe you can know and advise something on my question? It's just the first time I have found such a beautiful DIY lesson on the creation of carousels, thank you a lot for making this.
