i am more impressed with the carefully cut and shaped pannels for the walls! i normally use cardboard to mark the correct shape to then transcribe on the plywood. i didnt see him doing that, so he must have made tons of measurements! it is quite a complex task.

Much cheaper and simpler than a fancy camper van..I’ve just bought a nearly new VWT6 Transporter..I’ve made pull out sliding drawers with a bed on top with memory foam mattress ..as I’m 6ft2” the huge bed is really good..my wife even has more room at 5ft 3”!!! Saves huge amounts on hotel bills and you pull up and rest wherever you want. Thanks for,your video. Excellent.

I bought my classic mini 3 years ago when I was 19 too! I’ve done a very basic camper build in a Citroen dispatch, similar size to yours and also had a draw under the bed, works great! I went very cheap and used skateboard wheels at the back and just lifted it to pull it out but it was sturdy enough to stand on in order to get to the roof! It had a bunk bed for my mate and we’ve just got back from a couple of weeks of touring the uk, we live in Cornwall and have always wanted to see what else there is! Anyway back to the mini, now I’m home I’m looking to sell the van and put the money into rebuilding the mini aswell as some savings to build another van that’s a bit less shoddy haha. It’d be awesome to see some more videos on the mini, especially if your dad would be willing to document some of the work he carries out on it! Cheers Alex, love your videos

It gets a like from me just for the mini. I had (or my Mum had one) I always used to drive it around our farm. They were such sporty, nippy, little cars.....Don't let Mr Bean put you off them. They really were great cars. We got 6 of us in one once on the way back from the cinema.... Nostalgia.....

Put a gas spring on the lids, they're cheap and will prevent the lids from slamming down when you least expect it.
