@@mokpot These days John Travolta is on vacation in our country and he is delighted with the natural beauties, Iguazu Falls, the Mountains of the Seven Colors, Bariloche, Ushuaia but I think you would have that coming to Puerto Madryn in spring to dive with the whales is the ideal time since it is not too cold in the south and not too hot in the north, the change at this time will benefit you It is 1330 pesos for every dollar

Alana! I am always happy to receive a comment from you. My mood when underwater is almost always completely happy and content, being pushed or pulled along by the current just adds a level of excitement. : )

Ok, I have a question. I have always wondered about the currents in a river. Is there a difference in the strength of the current between the bottom and nearer the surface? Likewise, in a straight section of river, is the current different in the middle VS the edge? As always, I found the video very interesting!!
@mokpot4 ай бұрын
They answer to everything you asked is, yes. Currents can vary in each river and in different spots in the rivers. in this spot, the current is strong on the surface and slower here and there, on the sides, deeper, shallower, in the middle there is a dead spot. While in one spot the current will also shift, one minute I am just floating there, then, wham, I am being swept away. Still water one moment then the current picks up again. The shape of the river, the width, does it narrow? is there a deeper pocket? Does it have narrow deep spot!? I suppose another way to say it is... you never know. Diving or swimming in a current, of any speed or intensity can be dangerous. IS dangerous. You must be a strong swimmer and confident in your ability to "self rescue" You must have a rescue plan in your mind, before entering the water. Did I confuse you?

Late to the party. Water looks a tad cloudy. Is that from the current? They say when they drained Niagara Falls, there were hundreds of wedding rings at the bottom. I guess from broken marriages that honeymooned there?
@mokpot2 ай бұрын
Hi Robyn, it is good to hear from you. The water can be cloudy from the current, there is a dam a couple miles upstream from this location. When they release more water it can stir up the sediment, at times the water is really clear. Happy Halloween
@wandlbaker4 ай бұрын
Did you THROW that official object in so you could "find" it? LOL
@mokpot4 ай бұрын
Two thoughts: 1) If I were going to "seed" my finds, I would be finding WAY cooler stuff and more of it (is that actually 2 thoughts?) 2)I am certain that if I decided to play golf, I would be adding to the balls entering the water, (slice.... hook.... another slice...)
@mokpot4 ай бұрын
But... doing that would mean every dive could be official.. You are my new marketing director
