Although I do not have the patience or tools to do this kind of work, I have done it before and love watching you do it, explaining every detail as you go. Your attention to detail, especially in your camera work is exceptional. My wife, on the other hand was worried you'd ruin your new shirt and make it like the others. I told her the pigs don't care but she just doesn't get it.

I so much enjoy watching your videos and your journey. My grandparents had a dairy farm dating from when he was discharged following WWII until my uncle passed away. They raised chickens for many years in addition to operating the dairy. They were very frugal in their operation, so watching you keep the old equipment in such good order brings about so many great childhood memories. I’m 3 years older than you btw and enjoying everything about your channel. Thanks, Pete! Fan from Mississippi.

Thanks Pete for sharing this engine rebuild. Can’t stress clean enough when it comes to engines. A speck of dirt can cause lots of trouble.
@minnickfamilyfarm2 жыл бұрын
Looking good. I used to build topfuel dragster engines, so ring clocking, it’s to help for initial startup sealing and break-in. Yes rings will rotate during engine run time however all rings will rotate at a different rate. By clicking them differently it helps minimize any exhaust gas escape to the bottom end. It’s like starting a nascar race, all the cars are so close together for so long rather during a yellow flag they are all over the track and take forever to meet up. Hope that makes sense, also another reason why I don’t watch nascar. Have a great day!
