It’s so cool to see how one book is so different for different readers! I 100% felt like reckless was just a filler book, it was so hard for me to get through and personally I fret like there was no point to the book. So it’s cool to see a different point of view from it!

For me, 1. Twisted lies was favorite from the twisted series 💚. 2. I didn't read Ruthless Vows cause of mixed reactions but seeing this, I think I should pick it up ✨. 3. I felt the same emotions of what you felt about Daydream (I felt I craved more from the characters) I also gave it 3 ⭐. 4. I am sorry 😩, but I predicted the ending of Reckless before, but I love Kai & Paedyn so much that I gave it 4.5 ⭐. I love their chemistry, their adventures absolutely everything in that book ❤ (Also I recommend you to read Powerful novella, I sobbed in that book 🥺😭).

I never think about how many series I’m in the middle of until I see these videos 😂 I try to not start a series unless it’s already completed but there’s a lot of first books I’ve read that I didn’t know it was going to be series until after I finish the book! So now im eagerly anticipating a bunch of sequels that come out soon ❤

I’ve been in a slump for a month 😩 however I just picked up fear the flames, by Olivia rose darling! Read the first 50 pages and I’m HOOKED already, so I can see myself flying through it, I think I just need some good dragon books. The synopsis made me think of Daenerys Targaryen and been as I’ve just watched house of the dragon followed by a rewatch of Game of Thrones in in that fantasy castles and dragons mood

Hello miss. Ali, I think the Maple Hill books keeps going with all the hockey team (i hope) I'm next on the list for my libary's spot, but hoping to get it on my nook because I finished a nook book i'm in the middle of a series of myself. Book 6 of a very long book searies. I have a couple more LONG winded book searies too. So while i might not have as many as you, I do know how it feels. and i did just start another searies, but it's ok, because this one takes place in a town near me! (in a fake collage) It gives me Gilmore Girls vibes because of that "fake collage" and Yale was mentioned at least once! EEEEEEEE I'm obsessed already! Its called Collide if your interested. I got hooked because the cover. I was supposed to read it for "adult summer reading" because green cover and one word title. (can only chose one) but since the cover was green, i would have gone with that. It's getting crossed off the list on my TBR books at the very least, and I've finished my good reads season! (i dono if we have the same taste in books or you fallow me or what) But it's super exiting to see you on my good reads list! So yay! Also I got a new to me book searies (because i finished my first ever nook book) called Uglies, have you ever read it? Will you read it? I know you don't need to add anymore books, but I'd love to do a buddy read with you some time!

I loved Divine Rivals. I liked Ruthless Vows but it felts less impactful since it was pretty much the reverse of the 1st book. 😂

i tend to not read series in order to i’ll start two or three and come back to them later, it’s a way to savor the universe and the characters so that i can prolong the end of the reading journey

Ahh!! Ok so first of all SPOILER WARNING And i have a lot of thoughts on the ending so just wanted to share them with you. so i think kitt asked paedyn to marry him for like political reasons and we also see that callum who was the leader of the resistance became kitt's advisor so maybe Callum convinced kitt to ask paedyn to be his bride for like his own plan to maybe?? bring back the resistance. And also the epilogue for kai was so heartbreaking💔💔

***SPOILER FOR RECKLESS*** So I loved Reckless for several reasons, most importantly because of the character development of the two main characters. I loved the progression of their relationship and how they both deal with their trauma. I think it's a filler book but one with substance because we needed that development in order for their story to really take shape and be what I think we all want it to be in the third book. However, I 100% was disappointed with the ending...let me explain. We get all of this development with Kai and Paden finally expressing their love for each other and we have that super heartwarming moment in the field which I think everyone was just absolutely in love with. Then we get the bombshell, the plot twist, the WHAT moment. First, it makes no sense from what we see in Kitt leading up to the end of the book. He hates Paden and hates the situation he's been put in. But then, I think of the line where he says "I'm tired of writing from the villains perspective" (or something along those lines). I think he knows that people saw his father as THE villain because of what he did to the ordinaries, which Paden is. So, this is a step in him trying to change the narrative. However, I was very surprised (and kuddos to the author for making me surprised). But, the negative is I'm worried we lose all of the work that Kai and Paden just did to get where they are. Is Kai going to honor what his brother says? Will he still try and be with Paden? This is where I'm like DON'T DO THIS TO ME LAUREN ROBERTS. Just my two cents lol

yes you can just read powerless and reckless. Powerful is just a novella following a differwnt persons POV from the same timeline as powerless but i reeeeally really recommend reading powerful it was sooo goodd !!

Mild/vague spoiler: I totally saw the ending of Reckless coming, but I have no idea where it's going in book 3! I'm guessing they'll all act how they think they're supposed to act (putting on a front and doing their duty to the kingdom), but something crazy will happen and blow up the entire charade... hopefully something to do with the Resistance

RECKLESS SPOILER WARNING!!!! I think he did that because he wants the ordinaries to support him as king and Paedyn is somebody who really represents the oridinaries in that they look up to her and like her. I think a chapter in the book with Calum I think his name was alluded to that because he mentions that its one of the things he can do or something like that.
