I stayed in the same place in August, To be honest, it is a great apartment. The bathroom and shower has 4 star hotel features, balcony is huge and very nice to sit out on it, the lounge is simple but tidy, same with the bedroom. I agree about all those extra add ons if they are needed, but if they are not needed, this is clearly a very good apartment and very well situated

We stayed there last year. Found the apartments to be clean and quite spacious and a nice walk down to the main strip. The up front charge is well publicised. And if you pay it in cash you get it straight back instead of waiting for it to go in your bank. Is putting your own rubbish in the bins outside the hotel such a hardship for people. I would recommend these apartments.

It’s not a hotel it’s apartments and the fact you clean the place yourself and take the sheets and towels to exchange for clean ones and pay for aircon etc is reflected in the price,it’s much cheaper than the main hotels,we’ve stayed there 7 times and for the price it’s spot on,the 150 deposit is made clear if you read up on the place before you go

I think you are learning what most seasoned travelers learn, never book anything without asking questions. However to get a clean apartment with multiple rooms a balcony, pool,and all the things you need to self cater for 35€ is really good, and at 16€ for 4 people even better. You really must ask questions before you book another holiday, let the things that happened to you be a learning experience so in the future you won’t have so many disappointments. I mean no disrespect as I like Deano and think he could go far but there is only so many people that care about fish and chips and all day breakfasts so in a sense playing to those people and acting like negativity is solely about people being hateful is holding the channel back. I do support him though as a family man myself and if he isn’t bothered about growing all that much then that’s all good, but he if just wants to ‘be himself’ and just eat the same things and say the same then he will struggle to grow massively like others have.

In July, we stayed at the Hotel Helios apartments, which weren't far from your apartment. We had the same welcome pack as yours. It was a lovely, spacious apartment. It was very hot in July, and we had to get air conditioning at 12 euros per day. And yes, that car park we walked through when it was light and got a taxi back.

Deno i think you are being trival with uour comments you could have left £150 dep as for the towels and sheets change they are between 2 and 3 days each As someone who visits theses apartments and there sister ones the Playamar you only have to talk with the staff anytime and they are most obliging and very hospitable

Thanks for the vlogs, Spain is cheap compared to the UK. The reason you are required to pay a deposit, fetch towels etc is because its a cheap package holiday. Im booked for June 25 x2 flights 900 selfcatering 1 bed appt 10 nights @85 a night in Benidorm. Appreciate its out of season but can you really complain at 35 euro a night for a hole appt? Deposit is only an issue if you trash the place. If you want hotel amenities towels ceaner etc dont go self catering.

Palm court apartment s are canny . Top of strip. Been in pariso 10 next door to where you were about 4 times.All good but stay well clear of muggers alley on river bed at night lol. Bet you got turned over near Tommys Bar down the road lol. Usually rife around there. Been loads of times by myself and had no chew whatsoever. Got to keep your wits about you if alone mate if you don’t know the area. Happens everwhere though. Stay safe.

@JanetBrown-px2jn I couldn't live without aircon! The other night it was still 37 degrees C it's worse with the humidity too...atm we are having heatwave in our Eastern States! It is very dry here in Australia 🇦🇺 I much prefer our Autumn and Winter...never liked our Summers too intense! In some places it can get too 48 or even hotter in the outback!! In the hot Summers we tend to get up early and do our work as by lunchtime it is really hot! Awful too if you have a Power failures 🙄😒🙏

As we are on the Ocean it helps both summer, and winter. We have deserts too, and there it is well over 100F for weeks, but most of our deserts are high altitude deserts so temperatures fall at night.☔️

You should leave it as you found it state that many times Great apartments great situation even did my washing their comeback like brand new all ironing was done to perfection these are unscheduled charges you are talking about for warmed for armed I know that given the deposit seems very high but I have never had an issue getting it back the staff of always been very good and they do tell you when you book that they have a high deposit or at least they should back there in April for a bit of Spring sunshine hopefully

Hum. Not a big fan of hotels but the fact all services are charged separated and only charged if you want the service has to do with the Law in Spain that is similar in that sense in Portugal and with consumers rights. Has for the services and their prices some seem a little extortionary, but it depends on what you want and how much they want for it. This ended the old tradition of charging people including those services in the final bill without you knowing what the heck you were paying for. The towel thing is an odd one, here in the places I know you either leave it in a specific place in the bedroom to be changed by the employees or they collect it. The safe is also weird, usually they either have a safe in the offices near the reception or if the safe is inside the room you are provided a key or a code. The deposit is a standard thing in most hotels and aparthotels, but the value varies according to the days you book, and this has to do, probably, to previous "events" with other non EU tourists, because you can collect debts all over the EU trough a rather simple process, but outside the EU it is complicated. But also here I know they just make you pay the price in advance and refund if needed to avoid those situations and the hassles of deposits, so its a little different - again, for the places I know. But to be honest I would not stay in a hotel with these prices, they are too high for the service provided. And Benidorm is not my cup of tea, much better places here, but I am 5 minutes on car and 15 minutes on bicycle from the beach where I live... 😅

The charges are because of the sort of people that go to Benidorm, they will be used to things being broken. I am not saying all before someone replies with that but Stag and Hen do's and stuff. The deposit will make you respect things more. You are near the strip and the price you paid was very cheap can not complain really.
