The R33 GTR is finally done!

R33's have such a clean look, but R32's have my heart. R32 is my dream car. Still, I can appreciate how beautiful this turned out!

Thank you two! We love this thing. We appreciate the 32, but James's first GT-R was a 33 so he tends to lean toward those as more of an emotional attraction. Daryl tends to love anything from Nissan with a GT in it.

The r33 is the most underrated skyline gtr. It’s a beautiful car, guys!

It's not really underrated. The reason most people go for R32s or R34s is because the R33 is the heaviest of the retro GTRs. If you know your Japanese Grand Touring Championship history, the R32 dominated immediately. Almost to the point it was banned from most races. It was so strong from factory and ahead of its time that its technology outclassed rivals. The R33 was created with more luxury appointments and features as it gained popularity off the R32's run, but it ended up so much heavier that even doing weight reduction, the same weight reduction on a R32 was still more effective. The R34 rectified many issues the R33 brought up. But visually, the R33 is still a stunningly beautiful car. Most people just by for historical reasons, or performance reasons, so R33s get overlooked in place of better options. Not overrated, just overlooked.

@@tinystar3010 actually the R34 GTR is heavier than the 33, the reason they didn’t like it is because they didn’t like the non-boxy look…. & that it’s too soft in a way. Subjective really but it seems to be that than opinion spread a lot among the gtr fans & the like. I personally think it’s underrated & much better looking than the 32 🙂

We don't really disagree. Underrated or overlooked...This car MOVES! We love the R32s but have more of an emotional connection to the 33s. James owned one also. So he remembers his first and it just speaks to him in a way maybe a 32 doesn't. But if you've watched other videos you may notice we do not discriminate with GT-Rs. Have you seen our Kenmeri? Oh man.

Our Kenmeri. Our Hako. Our RH9 R33. And we may or may not have an EV ER33. And Possibly some 34s kicking around someplace...Just possibly.

Always preferred the R33's look to the more celebrated R34's. Glad you ditched the aftermarket mirrors for the stock ones, looks much better that way... And the wheels are spot-on, was well worth buying that Evo ;)

The R33s don't get enough love. We love all the GT-Rs. You and Daryl are the only ones who like the stock mirrors. But the rest of us won't hold that against you! And the wheels? Most expensive TE37s any of us have ever purchased!

The black goes really welll with the r33 I love cars in the color black but it’s a lot of maintenance to keep the paint looking good any slight scratch will show but man this is a masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥
