Salamanca es una ciudad hermosisima, en mi opinión tiene uno de los cascos antiguos más impresionantes de España, lleno de edificios impresionante aunque solamente por su Plaza mayor y por su Universidad ya merece la pena su visita. Gracias por el recorrido. Saludos!

Yo soy de Salamanca y la visibilidad que se le da no es gran cosa, es decir, no se le da tanta visibilidad como a Madrid o Barcelona por el echo de que es " pequeña " y no hay gran famosos. Pero para mí Salamanca es una ciudad de las más bonitas que hay y por ser pequeña o no tener más personas no se le tiene que dar menos visibilidad 🥰

It’s because it’s made from what we call “piedra de Villamayor”, which is a kind of stone very common in this village close to Salamanca.

yes, the Stone is called piedra de villa mayor, and depends of the light, the hour of the day, the time... has different colors, like gold, white, even pink.

It is a special stone that oxidizes as years go by, that is why it gets a golden colour. Like people before me explained, it is obtained in a quarry very close to the city, in a village called Villamayor. Some people call Salamanca "the Golden City"

Una ciudad muy bonita, pero........ ¿No os habéis dado cuenta de la poca genta que se ve por sus calles.....? apenas se ve gente, ni tráfico. Salamanca como la mayoría, por no decir que todas las ciudades de Castilla y León son el mayor ejemplo de lo que ahora llaman la España vaciada, o mejor dicho, despoblada..... Salamanca, quien te ha visto y quién te ve. Salamanca tuvo, pero no retuvo, sobre todo población, en fin, una pena.........
