My old ship is not in a bad shape. I'm a marine engineer and I work in that ship between winter 2021 and fall 2022. I'm in the original crew when we cross the ocean to find and learn how to manage the ship and engine room for 5 weeks in Canary Islands. Because, yes, Villa de Teror make job in Mediterranea (some crews and government employees visit that ship at Motril and Nador) before to go in Canary Islands for another line. The docks, both side, is under reconstruction, for the new and permanent ship, the future M/V Jean-Lapierre. Now, thw ship come in 2028-2030, not before. They work on the blueprint again. P.S. You like the yellow star aft of the funnel? It's the star for chrismas.

One of the most modern-ferries I've seen on your channel! And knowing it's in my country is super cool! Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine is a place on my domestic travel bucket list, so this video was super interesting! I'm really only familiar with BC Ferries since I'm from BC, so seeing more eastern routes is very interesting to me!

Bin damals als einer der Ersten Passagiere mit diesem Schiff gefahren, sie wurde zuerst auf der Strecke Motril- al hoceima eingesetzt von Trasmediterranea. Denke sie wurde Verkauft weil sich das Unternehmen mit der übernahme von Naviera Armas verkalkuliert hat und massiv Schulden angehäuft wurden.

Great work Carsten. The meal was better value there than the one you had a few weeks back on Moby Lines. I see you chose a V8 (sounds like it?) rather than the usual little cars like in Europe. Looking forward to your next ones. 😊

It was a RAM 1500 Sport, to be specific. It was almost brand new, with only 30 km on it when I got it. Stay tuned for more journeys. 😊 Carsten
