The BEST radio panel options I have ever seen, so awesome! Everyone else just has the default GNS530 in the cockpit (and makes an optional GTN750 available in the EFB) and that´s it. But not this little treasure of a plane here :) fully custom Garmin radio stack options with a fully simulated Garmin SL30 featuring a yellow dot-matrix screen and other panels I have never before seen. Optional NAV2 round instrument, tacho propeller deviation and wear and tear (and hopefully possible engine failures too when red-lining the rpm too long). This sweet little plane truly brings back the excitement of GA flying just like the Black Square Bonanza did a year ago. Awesome, a must-have in every hangar!

@@vjc3818 Finally getting a new yoke for my paws soon with a finest no-GPS VOR-only panel cockpit option is payment enough. This plane is really a surprise drop and otherwise I might have gotten crazy if the other awesome planes I am waiting for ... months .... or was it years (at least the wait feels like years for the HeatBlur F-4 Phantom, A380, BlackSquare Duke and the 757) are getting delayed again for few months more. ;D But my reviews are promising aren´t they, on Amazon I got an Amazon Vine program invite after my last reviews there.

Nice! The presentation takes me back to my days of training in the Tomahawk... 9878T. Such fond memories. I got my license in 78T in 1980. I can attest that the craft liked to go into a spin when doing a deep stall. It happened once, unintentionally, with my instructor on board. He let me recover. Hence, as mentioned, the infamous nickname 'Traumahawk.' 78T survived years of flying, students, and the punishment that goes with that. I know because I stumbled on pics of her a few years back. She is in the desert outside Kingman, rotting away in the desert. It's a bit sad, but I'm glad she survived. I've thought about buying and restoring her to fly once again. It's a dream I've had since finding her. This beauty from JF will fill that void for now. I can't wait to do a walk-around, pre-flight, and fire her up. Thank you JustFlight! 😁👍 🛩

I learned how to fly in '06 at age 45 in a high wing, t-tail, two place aircraft, a Special Light Sport Allegro 2000, the 'Tomahawk" of the SLSA niche. I hope this is released for the Xbox, and I suspect it will be. Just Flight is my fav sim developer, I've exchanged a few suggestions with your devs before and as a professional developer in the tourism business, until I retired in '15, I admired their style and humor especially given your products do not bring riches, but enrich our lives as simmers and pilots. Older now, I am no longer a recreational pilot, enjoying my recreation funds for vacations abroad, like my last in '17, but the sim I find quite immersive with products like yours, I can almost smell the Avgas in the cabin in such products.

Looking forward to getting the PA38 when it becomes available tomorrow. But, please tell me the next JF GA airplane willl be the PA28-181 Archer TX/LX. I loved that plane in X-Plane 11 and really miss having it in MSFS.

I trained on a Tamahawk. It's a comfy trainer, for GA trainer. As Private I bought one used. Its great for taking your friend up and tooling around town. Hamburger and pancake cross country local trips. Great VFR fun. Now they are all gone. Piper should bring back this trainer/ easy to own/fun aircraft. Just keep confident in spins, but most CFI's can train you on that.

Hey! I noticed that the artificial horizon is blue and black, the Tomahawk I flew in real life had a typical orange and blue horizon. Is there option to change it? Looks great and I'm really excited for it, great work guys!

No not right now. This representation was based on the real life aircraft we used as reference and there's no way of switching that currently. We will add it to our feature request list for you though.

Will the altitude indicator also include millibar increments? I only see inches of mercury.

The altimeter barometric scale changes between inHG and mb automatically depending on your unit of measurement selection in the MSFS settings.

Peter, we have no experience with YourControls so not sure what is involved with creating a profile. Typically with stuff like that we leave it up to the community to create. If that's even possible with the PA-38.

Since the model has an autopilot (even being a "fake" one), it would be a good idea to add an autopilot-coupled heading bug to the directional gyro. This would make for a better user experience, by avoiding the need to constantly look at the tablet for every turn while using the autopilot.

Unfortunately no update for the issue with the radio stack which is not switching from the 530 to the classic one😢Also ATC voice disappears. All on the Xbox X . I’m quite disappointed now paying 43.- CHF for a product which is not really working. If this goes like this I’m not buying anymore products from just flight! I have the Piper 250 from A2A and this is awesome 😊

Those two things were definitely fixed and tested by us before submission. I would suggest an uninstall/reinstall through content manager to make sure you're using the latest version. The Pipers all remain perfectly flyable and are being enjoyed by many right now. Could they do with being updated, possibly yes but all have received many updates since release so it's not like we release and forget about them. Finding the right balance between working on new products to get released and going back to older products to further update is a tricky balance to meet. The team here is modest in size, works amazingly hard to create the output that we do and we simply have to at some point move on and get new products developed and released. Commercially that's how it has to work otherwise we'd simply not be here bringing you aircraft to enjoy in MSFS. If you have issues specific to yourself with those aircraft that you need help with, please contact our support team and they will investigate for you. For quality of life improvements that will bring the aircraft up to the standard of those GA aircraft that are being released for the sim in recent times, you might just need to wait a little longer. Remember, the very best way to get anything looked at that you believe might be amiss is to create a support ticket with our team. I hope that helps.

Im. using Xbox X and switching once radios at the EFB I’m cannot use anymore the classic one . Tried to deinstall and reinstate the Tomahawk but it did not change anything. I see always the 530 button on the EFB and by clicking it I only hear a noise but that’s all I cannot change to the different radio option anymore.

Had my first 25hrs in one of these. Unfortunately it becomes absolutely uncontrollable if you put flaps on stage 2 in the sim. Doesn’t behave like I remember the real one at all.

Looked hard at buying this, but I can't see that it has any state saving. Just the usual JF select a state from the EFB. I cannot get the feeling of owning an aircraft without state saving, so I avoid aircraft without it. Does JF have any plans to change this policy in the future?

Awful physics Flies at 40 KIAS at MTOW with flaps up with no problem. Impossible to land, it floats all the runway without wanting to touch. Don’t worth a penny.
