With mother's history, granddaughter would be at risk for all sorts of dangers that she will not have to endure under her grandmother's care and protection.

I have a feeling the only reason why the mom wanted the daughter back was to use her for food stamps and what ever else she has done over the years. Thank goodness to the grandmother for telling the truth about her having other children before she even mentioned that she had other kids I could tell just by looking at how she answered that question that she had other kids and she didn't want to say anything because she knew she was in the wrong with every last one of them. She will definitely have to answer for her own doings as own doings as her children are old enough to find her and get ahold of her and find out why she was not there for them growing up going up it will not be a good day for her at all when they finally do get in contact with her. Especially if she doesn't want to own Up to everything that she has done over the years. And I'd be mighty surprised if she doesn't have more than 3 children. Thank goodness for having a grandmother that is doing what she needs to for her granddaughter.

What a loving, truthful grandma. What a fair ruling from the judge. The "mother" needs to get her act together. She lied by omission by neglecting to mention that she has three other children.

My dad was on child support since I was 12, and to me he still didn’t do enough for us. The absence of a parent will never amount to “insurance” or “child support”. All that child will know is you was never there for her along the way 👍
