I really liked this episode. Especially that end reveal, that the scientist was Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. A lot of times, it is your experience and the short anecdotes of yours that really make these episodes fun. My favourite teacher used to tell us short stories of his life. I'd be lying if I say that I didn't enjoy not being taught Mathematics in the official teaching hours. But it actually were those stories that were the most fun. And honestly those were some of the biggest contributions, to what I would say is me today. Thank you Shekhar Sir. You remind me of him.

Casually referring to how the media is responsible "too" is going lightly when it's clear that this whole thing was blown out of proportions because of Malayalam print media. Malayala Manorama, Kerala's largest circulated daily, shares beds with the Congress. But, given that the Congress themselves were in power, they played it out to oust Karunakaran to make way for Oommen Chandy. Anyone in Kerala (except the hardcore OC fanboys) would call Oommen Chandy equally (if not more) complicit in this case as of AK Antony. Twas Malayala Manorama that came up with these sleazy reports which eventually led to Nambi Narayanan spending months of police torture and his wife slipping into depression.

Your story behind the real story is really fascinating. Just one thought, was a simple case of political lust behind all this. How did those 6-7 names come together in the first place. Was there really some conspiracy somehere to delay the development for ISRO? That was orchastrated through select players from police and IB and some politicians..Your explanation for the delay beyond 1998 after supreme court judgement is too simplistic. Frankly i was in tears when i got to know what a genious nambi naryanan sir is through rocketry movie. Had he gone to nasa then today he would be enjoying life in a huge bungalow & with luxury cars. He left nasa offer and came here and we know what he got for the great sacrifice he did for this nation! Esp his wife dint desver a mental trauma for cooperating with her husband to sacrifice their luxuries for this Indias development. This is not what he & his wife desever. The then Deputy Director of IB in kerala was none other than an ips officer named sreekumaran who framed scientist nambi narayanan and he is the very same person who wanted to frame then Gujarat cm and present pm of india for riots in 2002. There was another IB officer who was later arrested for working as spy for US. The entire spy scandal was US manipulated conspiracy to delay india's cryogenic engine development coupled with this greed for power by an individual called Antony incidentally he is no saint as he is usually refered to but a sinner of some repute.

Very good episode and truly very happy to find out the truth from Mr. SG. Its really hair-raising to think of the horrors that Dr Nambi and Dr Sasikumar faced even though they were innocent and the way a beautiful life of extrordinary scientists was compromised with. What a great loss to the nation. But ultimately Dr Nambi is now the icon of the nation. A striking observation here is that Duggal Saab has not made his version of the video on this story.
