Justice for the Oppressed | Judgment Day | Ep. 14

Allah is the Most Merciful, but He is also the Most Just, and that justice is particularly shown and upheld when the rights of other people are in question. How we treat people in this world is going to determine if we meet Allah’s justice or His mercy. On the Day of Judgment, it would be in our best interest to have been among the oppressed in this world, rather than the oppressors.

After reading Tahajjud and watching this bought me so much peace. I have been wronged by my in laws and sister in laws who have hurt me over and over again. From making fun of me, making nasty groupchats about me, laughing at me and backing me into a corner and calling me disgusting and cursing my future with my husband. Along with many other things. I feel traumatised and suffering from PTSD. I never answered back and now i know that an Angel was there responding for me. I feel broken and have severe anxiety. I pray Allah to provide me with justice! This was my sign to watch this after my salah, a way of Allah telling me he will sort them out and i will take their good deeds 😭💔💔💔💔💔💔

I needed this, djazak Allah Khairan. I am having back flashes of how bad I was treated by my friends, this came at the right time. Being friend with people who backbit you is really hard, and it creates trauma and chronic sadness. Especially when you start realizing how bad they treated you and how they talked behind your back, and the fact that you can't anything about it because it's been a long time since it happened and until now you're aware of it is so unfair. However listening to this and getting educated about how those who were oppressed in life get their rights in the hereafter is so relaxing! Al Hamdu Li Allah we are among the oppressed in this world, rather than the oppressors.

*JUDGMENT DAY EP 14 NOTES* • You can't be a good Muslim, but a bad person. It doesn't work that way. • On the day of Judgment, Allah is going to divide the testimonies of the people into two. Those that were hurt by you, and those that were helped by you. • And we're going to break out the way that each of those impacts you uniquely. • But that's really the only value of the people as witnesses on the day of Judgement. • As for your personal religiosity, the Hadith suggests that Allah Subh'anaHu Wa Ta-A'la doesn't bring anyone else to say, "I saw that person pray and fast and that person was a good worshiper." Allah knows whether or not that's true of a person. • Of course, Allah knows everything. But the value of the testimony of people is, who did you hurt, who did you help? • Now, for the first category, there's something very important to note. On the Day of Judgment, you're either going to meet Allah's justice or His mercy. • His justice is that he scrutinizes you for your deeds, like that person whose limbs are brought forth to testify. • His mercy is that He overlooks those things and He forgives you. However, when it comes to issues between us and other people, Allah will hold us to a standard of justice only. • Because it would be unjust to not give the wronged person their right, and forgive on their behalf. • And that's why Imam Sufyan Al-Thawri Rahimahullah said, "For you to meet Allah Subh'anaHu Wa Ta-A'la with 70 sins just between you and Allah would be easier on you than to meet Allah Subh'anaHu Wa Ta-A'la with a single sin between you and his servant. We ask ‎ الله سبحانه و تعالى to protect us from actions, which will lead us to be bankrupt on the Day of Judgment. Protect us from backbiting with both the tongue and keyboard. Just goes to show how those upon whom we may look down upon on in this Dunya, who look poor, or who are oppressed, who are enduring hardships, -how things can shift in the Hereafter. We make ‎دعاء for all our oppressed brothers and sisters in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Chechnya, Yemen, the Uighur people, those from Rohingya…where it seems as though they are on the losing side. Justice will be served on the Day of Judgment.

The amount of hurt I have been experiencing lately hearing about people speaking poorly of me and using my experiences in this life as a way to put me down when I am not in the room to defend myself. It has been very hard to deal with mentally. But I am glad I came upon this video. It's hard to not let the backbiters get to you but knowing that they are only harming their own Youm AL Qiyamah with every bad thing they say makes it slightly easier to deal with. We cannot control what others will say just how we react and handle the situation. May Allah forgive us all who have had moments of backbiting and may the ones who continue to do so, repent and stop doing it before it is too late Insha'Allah ameen

Even being loyal to someone is not good enough it can be frustrating and overwhelming in any faith try to breathe through tough tines.
