If you haven’t watched this yet, I would recommend watching 1-flashpoint paradox, 2-teen Titans vs justice league, 3-justice league dark, 4-death of Superman, 5-rise of the supermen. There are others to watch too, (justice league war, son of Batman, Batman vs robin, etc) but these will give enough of a background to run with everything in this movie. Justice league is teen titans is only important if you are not familiar with Raven or Trigon. The main ones really are justice league war, justice league throne of Atlantis, death of superman, and reign of the supermen. Justice league dark is one to watch if you are not familiar with those characters but if you are you can skip that too.

That was not a proper Bat/Cat in any way and wasn’t believable in Hush. Selina and Bruce were more believable together in Gotham by Gaslight. The Andrea and Bruce romance in Mask of the Phantasm was much better. Did you not watch the first two Reeve movies and Smallville? Clark and Lois are amazing together in Smallville along with the Superman and Lois dynamic.

About the Synder Cut: I was always under the impression it was planned as a trilogy and the "Zack Snyder's Justice League" is just part 1/3, and it just shows Darkseid in the end. Part 2/3 is where the nightmare scene becomes a reality. Part 3/3 is the finale where Batman dies and Superman/Lois name their baby "Bruce"

@@sharilshahed6106 yeah there are some shit animated films mixed in there, but I'd take Flashpoint, Dark Knight Returns and JLDAW well over any live action DC film in the current cinematic universe. I wish we could have seen that kind of quality story telling put on the big screen. In my opinion the animated movies destroyed the live action when comparing the Doomsday vs Superman and Batman Vs Superman fights. Fans deserve to see Batman to look over a bloody Superman and say "I didn't have to go easy on you....I want them to remember it was me who beat you" instead of the Martha stuff.

Same here. The DCDTDVD universe (or DCD2DVD, whichever you fancy) just felt so bland. It felt like it tried way too hard to be something, and didn’t try at the same time. They’re completely unremarkable, this film being no exception. It’s just shock value for the sake of shock value and trying to show people, “oh we’re more hardcore than Marvel because we show gore in our movies!!!” If Infinity War showed me anything, it’s that you don’t need gore to make a character’s death impactful. What you need is a character we have investment in because they’re a legitimately good character.
