This was a very excited time in DC this is right after rebirth. Doomsday clocks delays really screwed their momentum. It seemed to be going one way and Geoff Johns I don’t know if it jut took them a long time or other stuff happened behind the scenes but all of a sudden dooms day clock was out of continuity and Snyder was taking DC in a different direction in the middle of a really fascinating route. Felt like a hard left turn. Either way this is probably my favorite rebirth run.

I used the trade paperbacks that were released as the series was coming out. Seems they’re a bit tough to find now, but this series seems like one DC would likely release in omnibus format

This is better than the 52 era. My only problem the 52 run was the inconsistency of the writers and the art.

Was super excited for this, but as a "starter" to the Magic side of the DC universe, it was jsut too much for me. Amazing Art and some awesome Characters like Man-Bat and Swamp Thing, but the plot itself was too complicated for me.

These are custom hardcovers made using the trade paperbacks. I’m sure this series will get an omnibus in the future!

This takes place quite some time after the New 52 omnibus. There’s a 3 year gap between the end of the New 52 series and the start of this one

I enjoyed your video. However the author’s name is pronounced TyNAN No the way it’s spelled. He said the spelling was changed when his family came through Ellis Island
