Fantastic video,I love the rebirth era! Personally, I really enjoyed doomsday clock. It felt like an end cap to the rebirth era and answered questions that were brought up in the rebirth special. Unfortunately because of all the delays, Scott Snyder's Justice League run and death metal made everything in Doomsday clock irrelevant. But near the end of death metal Snyder did try to tie in Doomsday clock to everything, because he was trying to tie in everything DC into everything. I'm still finishing his Justice League run so I haven't even read death metal so I don't know how well he did but that's what I've been told. I do know that Doomsday clock and Snyder's Justice League have two completely different versions of how the JSA comes back into continuity, which sucks but whatever.

I sampled a lot of the titles by reading their volume 1 trades (something 25 of them) and I have continued to read volume 2 or 3 or even 4 in some of them after they came out in deluxe but I still have a lot to read. All of them are well written so it is not difficult to read them more than once, especially if you enter a marathon to read the entire run including post Rebirth volumes.

Great Video Jess, I love my collection of rebirth DLX HC which you recommended some 3 plus years back in a root beer review shame DC stopped the format. On another topic if I may, I think it is time that the community and collectors network address the problems with IST customer service and lack of communication on their part. Customer reviews have panned in the last 6 months. There inability to respond to e-mail over shipping error, damage and excessive delays is making a once great company one to avoid. Maybe this can be a future discussion on OCN channel if not here. Thanks for all you do Jess.

Even if I could discuss this what exactly could I do? That’s really a sincere question! I’m not sure i have any influence there so I’m open to suggestions as to what I can do for the community. @@OmnidogsVault I think maybe the Omnibros could ask the questions and see if they are willing to give honest answers to the on going problems, which then could be expressed during a show maybe they could even come on a show to address concerns. I for one are spending anything between 500 to 700 Dollars a month which is starting to feel risky when shipments are outstanding for up to a month or more, with no reply to e-mails. The industry as a whole is going though a lot of changes so better communication to the consumer is paramount. Thanks Jess for your reply, Hugs!

@@OmnidogsVault I used it to recreate the Infinite Crisis omnibus. DCUI's own Playlist for the event is inferior to the omnibus. DCUI is missing just one issue though. I love the feature, but to read the next comic you have to go out of your way to go to your account page, the custom Playlist section, the Playlist, then the comic. I hope they streamline it to work more like normal Playlists

I did like the New Superman plus JL of China but the only thing that keeps me from buying it again in trades is that it is not as thick. But I don't know if DC does fatter trades of current tittles

@@OmnidogsVault very true, the corporate shakeup happened not long ago. I guess we would have to wait and see by the end of the year. On another note on DC collected editions, I have been waiting for a reprint of the Loeb/Sale Batman trilogy on absolute format. Missed the chance when I could buy them on IST but I personally think they would be reprinted because 1. Batman and 2. the next movie and the animated adaptation of LH would be perfect to tie into new versions of those 3 absolutes

I loved the Percy Green Arrow a lot and I liked that it was just 6 issues of a really great story, Batwoman is okay, but I really miss the J H Williams III era when she fought magical enemies... Also Birds of Pray is just 3 volumes so you should get them if you enjoyed the series!!
