Alpha Flight..... now isn't that the illest name you ever heard for a super hero team? Remember the X-Men episode "Repo Man"? now DON'T Vindicator, Puck and Shaman have the ILLEST uniforms? GRANTED, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know in ALL renditions of Alpha Flight, Beta Flight and Omega Flight generally SUCK, but that's because the stigma of Alpha Flight being a crappy team probably spreaded throughout the whole writing community, so when a writer is approached to writing for Alpha Flight IMMEDIATELY Thier mindset is like "DAMN!" We need a "new breed" of writers with the guts to go to extra mile, we need Marvel to bring Alpha Flight into major crossover events with MAJOR dialogue and speaking rolls, NOT where you just"see" them in the background. Marvel need to be ASHAMED of themselves for having Alpha Flight on deck for ALL THESE YEARS, and NOT doing anything REALLY MAJOR with them. Alpha Flight is TRULY Marvel's child that they treat like crap and keep them locked in the attic,who they OCCASIONALLY let outside for 30min. a MONTH just so people can see their alive. Waller was smart bribing Lobo. An explosive bomb in his head wouldn't make a difference as he would just grow a new one. Even Waller is probably scared of him, he is the one baddie she couldn't control, only way she could is for the right price, but in the end even if he works for you, you're at his mercy (which equates to nothing). This is why he is the main man, the bad guy all other bad guys fear.

Cause every single of one of them wouldn't last a second when there near him. Now you'd have both Waller and the Main Man himself to worry about. Chances are the rest of squad dies, only Lobo makes it out without a scratch and collects his payment. If think about escaping, either Waller will just blow your head off with the explosive device in your head or Lobo will just kill you straight up weather you run or whenever he feels like it unless you're fortunate enough that he's paid top dollar not to, but either way working with the Main Man would make you wanna go back to prison.

This is the pre New-52 Lobo. Skinny Lobo is captured by Brainiac and Larfleeze and has a very short cameo in Hal Jordan & the Green Lantern Corps#12. When Guy Gardner starts breaking Larfleeze collection, and grabs the container where the new-52 Lobo was captured, Hal Jordan tells him better leave him alone.
