Hey man I just wanna start off saying I massive respect your knowledge on everything comics and especially marvel. But pre-new 52 especially Booster gold is my favourite. Maxwell Lord is a booster gold enemy. He killed blue. Booster's solo comic had a lot of going back in time to stop that or to stop maxwell Lord. GenerTion lost the leader was booster influencing them into fighting max. Sure by the end it was their choice but at first they wanted to avoid it. TL;DR maxwell Lord is a booster villian.

Rob I have a suggestion! One of the more unknown of the superman comic and also considered most hair raising Would be adventures of superman 46-48 It's considered to be strange visitor superman and even pays homage to the original Bronze Age superman. A great quick read with enough story content and feats to bring up a good topic for videos

like you mentioned in the video i also had never heard of Maxwell lord until now but he does sound like one of those bad guys that makes a story interesting and gives super heroes a difficult time which are some of my favorite stories, ones that bring hero's to the edge where you don't know how they are going to overcome the situation and the possibility for well known characters to be altered in some way, maybe even die, is a potential. like with the new batman books that have been coming out, with the return and death again of the Joker and the videos you've done really helped make me aware that there are things i need to be reading that haven't been brought to my attention yet for whatever reason. I grew up on marvel comics and spiderman was my first favorite hero and will always be in some regards. but as I got older i started to view marvel as more young adult geared writing and DC was more older adult themed content, not all of it but a lot of stuff had darker characters and plots than marvel did, or at least to my perception from what I was reading. and I made a transition with really getting into spawn and image comics, who i always felt was a batmanesque kind of character, they both loom in the shadows and use hand to hand combat and military precision planning and tactics and so on. but spawn was darker than the darkest spiderman stories combined and appealed to my post teenage angst years and inspired me in a creative sense as an artist and hobbyist writer, but spawn wasn't dark and anti-establishment just for the sake of being so which is what that teenage angst was for the most part, just a rebellion without a cause because you were getting older and could start making your own choices that didn't follow your parents ideas for what they wanted you to do, and it had real purpose behind the darkness and that was something I thought had a lot more potential for good story telling and would be more interesting to read because it wasn't predictable like most of the good guy stories where the good guy always comes out on top, it started to feel like professional wrestling and the easily predictable ways the stories and drama in the WWC or WWF as it was known when I was growing up watching it. so things like this are a welcome change, characters who have been around for awhile but are new to me make them unpredictable and makes me excited to see what is in store for the justice league and how they will combat this new threat. I know this was a long comment and I have a tendency to write them like that which probably deters you from reading them but I hope you at least glance at it cause I like to pretend you read and contemplate everything i write after a video

I've only known of Max Lord from Supergirl and I simply thought they made him for the show. When I found out that he was at the end of JL vs SS #1 I found it interesting then when I read the Maxwell Lord tie-in and did a little research.
