Philip Shin well the squad actually lost every encounter. It's only because superman was trying not to hurt any of them and was holding back that frost absorbed enough solar energy from him to cause an iceblast that knocked everyone out. In a way superman beat the league since the squad would have been gone if he wasn't there.

A lot of complaints about how the battle went but I believe it was done rather well. Every suicide squad member apart from enchantress and KF wouldn't be a match for the justice league and that is what was shown here. Enchantress has defeated the justice league on her own before in justice league dark and she was only stopped thanks to constatine and his JLD team. And killer frost just happened to be close to superman to be able to use her power (ie draining him). That is about as good as the fight could have gone if you wanted it to be interesting.

Love it!! I like the pairing of the SS and JL when they fought. I liked how they were stopped. I love the way they included Lord and all this. I really hope they explain more on how the Pre-New 52 knows about Lord. Can't wait for the next issues.

Countdown to Infinite Crisis Story Events...Maxwell Lord Brainwashes pre- new 52 superman and forces him to attempt to kill pre - new 52 wonder woman in which she breaks Maxwell Lords neck to free superman from mind control and makes the world view it to see the Justice League are killers (you can see the Justice League no kill concept reiterated here in this JL vs Suicide Squad story). Maxwell also temporarily controlled OMAC which was a supercomputer AI built by batman after Identity Crisis..during Infinite Crisis, OMAC was a multiversal threat along with Superboy Prime and Alexander Luthor! Just some history :D

DC doesn't hate Superman, it's just that they try to make interesting stories and that can't happen if Superman defeats anything and anyone in his way. Also Superman, just like any other member of the current Justice League, is vulnerable to magic, he has always been that way. And you what you have to take into concideration as well is that Superman doesn't want to hurt innocent people, June Moon was trapped inside of the Enchantress and tried to help her.
