Dust is like coal, stores energy, it has an elemental aspect to it. it can power things, be used as ammo, A modifier for semblances ect..... pretty sure anyone can use it. A Semblace in someones inate born ability, it's an extension of ones aura (which is also aprt of their soul), it needs training and although everyone has one, it is something that needs to be unlocked byt the individual. they typically aren't inherited ( the exception being the schnee family) IE. Blakes semblance is shadow clones, she uses dust to modify them, for exsample, she can imbue one with fire dust to make it explode on contact. think of dust like a mana potion that gives the user an elemental buff.

Let's not forget about the superior visuals, the animation software they've been using since Volume 4. I hate how my older brother compares the visuals from V4-Present to PS2 Graphics, and he doesn't care about RWBY all because the protagonists are women, V1-V3 is understandable to compare but Modern RWBY visuals don't look that bad. Animation style with their Fight scenes are a different story though. V4-Present fight scenes aren't bad but they aren't the same after V3 and that one fight scene in V5 in Blake's parents house with those Cloaked White Fang Monk Twins. The plot is also a different subject, but let's stop there.

Salem could be a problem for Superman because, aside from Kryptonite, he's vulnerable to magic. Then again, they did hint that Magic and Semblances share a connected origin. Semblances are just "parlor tricks" compared to real magic.

I'm happy that others are questioning the complete absence of Pyrrha Nikos, because A) this is in Beacon, a time when she absolutely would have been there, B) they recast Glynda Goodwitch and are actively using that character, so recasting Pyrrha (if needed) wouldn't have been an issue, C) they have Jen Brown, Pyrrha's VA, on call for stuff, so they don't actually need to recast her, and D) the comic that this is loosely based off of DID include Pyrrha. In short: we have Pyrrha erasure with no reason why. Ah, who am I kidding here, even if they DO use her, they'll probably just kill her off for shock value again, because they KNOW you'll all eat that schlock up.

In AU , the team JNPR died except Pyrrhra Henry Takahara after he realised what true safety is: " Indeed I am what you must realize my huntsman brethren is we were never going to win the war. For the sake of our planet's survival, a deal had to be made... With Russia" - readied his blaster and shot at Nora, Ren, and Jaune twice, they were crawling but shocked for his sudden betrayal. Yang screaming: "Everyone get back!" Just as they saw their friends got shot by their old friend, the three of them were able to get up, but merely. Nora then asked: "What have you... done??!!" Jaune: "Henry... Why?" Henry: "I am sorry, my huntsman brothers." Ren:"Why did you... do that?" Henry: "I hereby discharge you 3 from duty." Jaune, Nora, and Ren: " Nooooo!" The last words before Henry killed them and this blast was set Pyrrhra to jump away and she's started to run away from Henry because he was too powerful for her and she was able to fought back Weiss: " We need to get out of here now!" Ruby: " Pyrrhra!" Blake: "She's going to be okay, Ruby! We have to save ourselves!" Yang: " We must warn Cal, Merrin, Kion, and Kata about Henry's betrayal! We need to get to the Academy! Let's go!" Team RWBY went to Beacon Academy but Pyrrhra was the one who's just got in time to contact with Cal about what happened: "Cal this is Pyrrhra it's urgent you need to return to Academy immediately!" Cal: "Pyrrhra? We are arguing with Mr.Ironwood, Winter about the decis..." Pyrrhra: "It's Henry Takahara he has betrayed us! You all need to go back immediately!" Cal: "Henry, what did you just do!" Kion: " I sensed a great disturbance in the Force... I believe it's - he then realized that it was his brother but didn't finish because he was too shocked and hurt for what he had just found out. Cal: "It's your brother. We need to return to Accademy right now!" Merrin: "I can teleport all of us into that location!" Cal: "Do it now!" Meanwhile, in Beacon Academy, Henry, seeking the relics to give to the enemies by destroying the Academy Winter, arrives and gets stood by Weiss: "Winter, you have to get away it very too dangerous to be here!" Winter: "I know that, but I need to try to talk down with him! Henry! Do you have any notion of the consequences of your blunder?!" Just as Kion is about to be fainted with tears, Cal was able to get him and hug him so tightly so he would feel that he's not alone and felt disappointed with Kions brother. And from here on, Kion immediately hugged Cal even more and said: "This whole time... my brother was..." Cal: "I am so sorry, brother." As Kion stopped crying and pulled himself together, he and Cal got up and gave a look to RWBY a sad look what he's just did then Winter approaches and saying to him this: "Now take a look, Cal this is all your fault!" Ruby: "This isn't his fault he didn't even knew about his betrayal!" Yang: " He already took relics" Ruby: " We need to go we got to hunt down that rath!" This gives Cal's look into more serious as he knows that it was Kions older brother and now that Kions is exact same situation as Kata was but he's not completely younger than she was when Bode died, and got more determined to the war and stop him once and for all.
