@Erik Roman to bad he never say the other guys name and he already explained it about himself when Ren said he was surprised that he was able to adapt quickly. So know there's no reason for it. I seen the movie so they did some okay balance with each of the characters and they never done anything deeper then that. Which to be honest they should of make it a 2 hour movie for the characters to get more of a understanding instead of being rushed

You're reading it wrong. Cyborg doesn't know what trauma Ren has faced, or if he's faced any in the first place. Cyborg is referring to his own trauma and making light of it. Nora's laughter is a response of "oh, you don't know the half of it" cause she knows what he went through and how it awakened his semblance.

He didn't choose to be like this and live with it throughout his life. He had no choice but to adapt and accept it unlike Ren that is still human and can build a future still and make his choice on how he can live to move forward.

I haven't watch all the rwby series but still even the one's that are both DC and rwby fans understand that each characters all been through hard times but again it's the writers are the one's should of pay attention on the details of them before making the storyline.

I mean it sells and all but yea.. To be fair though, if the league acted how they normally do. As Teen titans go pits it. "Serious". Then it wouldn't be as interesting to new fans. I could see actual batman doing more investigating, trying to figure what's going on and not trusting people from remnant so easily until they earn it.

But over the past few years, my expectations for what RT puts out have been dropping a lot. This year going into V9 and this movie... I was scrapping rock bottom. It's sad that even then I found that I set the bar too high.

It was an okay movie, Ren's jealously doesn't seem in character, but Nora being independent does as she is trying to be more Nora and not Renora. But the best ship: KNIGHTLIGHT, Jaune and Jess had a great spark. It's a Spark not a confirmation. Great to see whether it's just a friendship or it becomes something more.

Its because the jealous boyfriend trope is a really boring one that ruins characters. Especially with a character thats known to be polite like Ren. And they could have made his jealousy much more bearable if they had made Ren less of an aggressive boyfriend and rather make his concerns more subtle and we actually get a scene of Nora reassuring Ren that she still like him

Nora laughs at Rens trauma even though she was there when it happened and was always supportive of him. And then it just kinda resolves itself on its own and then they just get along at the end with basically no like “hey don’t flirt with nora” or “don’t be a jerk to ren” that’s like entirely forced. Plus Ren is already a teenager so it’s not like he’s having to “battle his hormones” or whatever the excuse was for making everyone young. This entire thing felt like it was just meant to be like “hey look at this healthy relationship how can I mess with it”
