Justice is not a matter of innocent or guilty but entirely based on technicalities... guilty can be innocent and vice versa
@albertchehade99166 жыл бұрын
Justice has a price - whether you are guilty or not guilty or innocent, the only difference is the cost. For a guilty person, it's cheap. For the innocent/not guilty, it's very very expensive.

To bad every defendant can't have the best lawyer team. If a defendant is not rich they are at the mercy of a system that convicts innocent people.

fanghicheck for those who have the money for court fees. If you don't have someone on the outside to file court cases, or pay for them when you can't do it yourself, or have the money to pay for it, weather your innocent or not, your guilty. Law of nature, path of least resistance. Goes for *_ALL_* the lazy bureaucrats and prosecutor's who look for scapegoats just so they can look like their working. Look at how many get overturned that *_don't_* have anything to do with violations of civil rights, just on the merits of the cases. And *_NO,_* I will *_NOT_* do any homework for anyone. I know the cases exist and don't have to prove it. Anyone who *_needs_* me to prove it, needs to prove it *_doesn't_* and show how smart they really think they are.
@albakreuk58306 жыл бұрын
fanghicheck system really is broken, just on the fact prosecutors will make flimsy evidence(at best) fit to close cases. Also, how many unsolved cases are there? Do you know? Hmm, system works huh?

Bad scheduling by Fox. They killed multiple TV shows, dramas & comedies, with great potential in the ‘00s with bad scheduling. In the fall it was to accomodate baseball and in the winter/spring it was because of American Idol.

2006 released...8.0 rating...-Top-lawyer Ron Trott runs his own prestigious L.A. law firm, which offers first-rate criminal defense, charging top-dollar to the wealthy, guilty or innocent or civil party, or occasionally accepts a case for the publicity or for a friend. He has an elaborate team, mainly comprised of specialists, from detectives and ex-public prosecutor Luther Graves to various paralegals such as a specialist in jury-selection and psychology. However Trott has a bright right-hand, charming Tom Nicholson, who is likely to become at least as good a pleader, provided he can control one weakness Ron seems immune for: human feelings such as sympathy, sincere disgust or compassion can cloud the cool competitive killer-instinct to win at any cost to earn a king's ransom.

America is a place of strange contrasts. The US incarcerates the *highest* number of people, per head of population, in the western world, possibly in the whole world (North Korea for instance isn't telling how many they lock up). Does this mean the US has the most criminals in the world?! Probably not, but maybe the worst policy on gun proliferation?
@mikem62513 жыл бұрын
LOL. Pure fantasy/entertainment. Both the prosecution and defense, in this case, particularly with their egos, was so far from what goes on in real life, that it's like being on another planet.
@Christopher_Robert_Evans Жыл бұрын
I loved this show for its entertainment value with an amazing cast (Victor Garber, Kerr Smith, Eamonn Walker, Rebecca Mader), not because it shows in a sort of comedic way how the legal system works for rich people.

I am from England so pardon me if this is a stupid question but if the police are travelling to arrest someone why broadcast the fact on TV if he is watching and guilty he probably will not be at home he would be on his way out of the country.

It is a stupid question but the answer is that they cancel his passports and if he wants to hide from the police they freeze his bank and he’s the most wanted man

Not stupid, but you are disrespectful.
@michaelvidal19713 жыл бұрын
@@alanaronald244 Why is it disrespectful to comment on what would appear to be a strategic error as evidence by the fact in the episode the accused had the time to go to surrender himself at a local police station while the officers were on route to him. This also allowed to prove he was not a flight risk.

3 points No murder weapon found consistent with wounds No blood splatter on umbrella Head trauma consistent with expert theory of skull splintering. Jerry Bruckheimer did CSI. This one is a classic story of reading the evidence, not the prejudices to the witness
@albakreuk58306 жыл бұрын

Ok I get you. Must be taking this series too deep in, now I'm wanting to argue with everyone. Yes it was absurd point, but so many times convictions succeed on such.
@soniavadnjal75532 жыл бұрын
Aren't you listening to the dialogue? You can fall down and hit your head once, but the impact on the skull can spread the wounds, to make it appear as if the head was struck more than once.

A dizzying production with non-stop bullets of dialogue acted out by characters declaiming in a continuous stream through their own costume changes and all at the speed of their own thought. This show has one temperature…212° fahrenheit. I’m surprised the actors are not all sunburned. Intensity and streaming gravitas are no substitutes for dramatic excellence. I’m not impressed. Talented actors used as dolls in a flyby viewing; a shame really. JUSTICE episode 1 (2016) ..great cast in a blur of a production. Has our aggregate attention span become so short?
