This is my kind of show, and oh how I miss it! Gene Barry dancing to Bret Michaels’ music is adorable, the guest stars are a perfect combination of vintage and new Hollywood, and I love the campy one liners. Thanks for bringing me joy by sharing this! ❤

I missed this show when it was on, and it's a good show. Gene Barry (real name Eugene Klass) was a childhood violin virtuoso and was married for 60 years. Impressive!

Dont make them like that anymore. Especially in Follywood. He was a rare breed. Think James Garner was married to his wife quite a while. Both Lloyd Bridges and Jeff Bridges have had lifetime marraiges.

@@WalterDWormack214 I enjoyed being right I think. He was so good at giving me facts of the stars lives before they were famous. And he loved to watch old movies with me and would point out things I missed. I guess it was our thing. He died an a car accident in the Italian Alps when I was 19.

they were repeats after all, the murderer is the same no matter how many times you watch an episode, I did the same with my daughters, I could always "guess" who the murderer was😁

The simplest way to "solve" the mystery on most crime dramas has more to do with knowledge of the stars than the evidence presented. No series will ever trust the critical moment of drama. when the killer is exposed, on an unknown or lesser talent. The killer will always be someone who can spar well with the star.

I don't think it would be possible to make a show like this today. For one thing, TV shows are only 40 minutes long without the ads. And there aren't that many TV stars out there who are known by most viewers. Who would the guest stars be ?? Mark Harmon, Keifer Sutherland, Grant Show, Nicollette Sheridan , etc. ??

I found this series a weak ago and remembered watching it years ago And learned it's a sequel to the 60s show Shame this lasted only 2 seasons... Up to the next episode. By the way ...the son is hot 🔥with the shirts on the beach ⛱ and with the tight jeans 👖 and tight shirt 👕🤪🤤
