Relaxing and Beautiful Snowy Arctic Town View - Full Drone Circle

This is how Akureyri looked today after nice days of snowfall before the wind takes over and spoils the view so i might try to get some more of this. But i felt it appropriate to do a full circle, see what comes into the frame and go with it. We can still see some Christmas light since many prefer to keep them into February when the days get longer.

Wow... what a beautiful journey. The whole video seems surreal. Around 4:45 and 9:27 I felt like I was transported to make believe land. All the structures looked like they were built by Disney for Adventureland. Everything is miniature. Too perfect to be real. Wow! This drone circle made want to visit a snowy Akureyri! Cozy and chill town vibes! Could easily visit a bar in city centre, and look out at people zipping on a cold beer, and then also sober, just do some roadtrip thru the town and nearby areas!

Beautiful and cold! I enjoyed observing architecture and paint options of buildings. So many light colored buildings and then splashes of color in other neighborhoods. That red water slide sure showed up before I realized it is a water slide. And swimming … that must be quite the experience. Warm waters in such climate outside! I also enjoy the lights - even if it’s the autos with their lights or the traffic lights changing. There’s an extra interesting building against the shoreline which has two towers in front which are tiered. I should have paid attention to the time on the vid but I didn’t. Curious what that/those are. Quite a few people walking about so I see. And they don’t seem to be piled on with clothing like we do when it’s cold here (Central Texas USA). 😂😊 I also found it interesting how in the area with more colorful houses, the trees and surrounding seem to pick up a glow of the coloring. Reflection I suppose. What scenery bathed in thick, cold moisture out over the water and beyond. In other words … what sights! Wow! And thank you for sharing these views with very enjoyable (relaxing) musical accompaniment ! Very very nice. But brrrrr 😊

Incredible photography! I noticed a lot of flat roofs,, does Iceland not get a lot of snow?? I'm curious about the amounts of snowfall and how cold that it gets in the middle of winter?? I'm from Wisconsin, 60 miles north of Green Bay, and I've been through a few things!! Lol Six foot snow drifts here at home, and have been in -47F not far from home. I know that Iceland and Greenland were strategy named.
