You can say a lot about him, but as a drummer of 40 years, I can tell you he's not all that bad. You dont learn to play like that over night and it takes work to learn it. And unlike a lot of young pop stars today, he can actually play an instrument. Much respect for him. He seems to have matured immensely in the last decade too.

I'm no bully...he's improving and could/will be a good drummer with time and maturity, maybe excellent. The savants are the ones who are world-class by age 18, generally. By the way the left-handed hi-hat, or "open handed" playing is great!! That will help him become more advanced as a player , overall.
