And they expect her to be nice to them. He was not a bad kid. Well I was twenty when he became a big deal and although I didn’t hate him distinctly and personally I did hate how he was foisted upon everyone to the point it was unavoidable. But, this is true of everyone famous.. they’re forced upon the public and after enough repetition of the dumb song or commercial, etc everyone just thinks they chose to like them.

Plus during that time, differences of 3 years wasn't "too alarming", even if the younger partner was female. Heck, Hilary Duff dated Joel Madden when she was 16 and he was 25 and not that many people raised an eyebrow at him (though Hilary did get slapped with a sl*t label, shocking 🙄). Not saying it's necessarily right, but 3 years is considered the max above limit for teenagers (with the assumption that they started while dating in high school).

I remember the Mariah Yeater story. I thought it was weird and creepy that a 20-year-old woman would date, let alone have sex with a 17-year-old boy. I know that a lot of child stars are often the subject of countdown clock websites or whatever the modern equivalent to them, but that's taking things too far. Justin went through a lot when he was younger. Fame is a type of trauma. Many adults can’t even handle fame. Imagine being famous at a young age. Now Justin is almost 30 and he seems like such an anxious person who doesn’t deal well with being around people (just my observation). A lot of this stuff has affected him. I feel bad for him honestly. Hope he is getting the support he needs. His song “Lonely” on his album Justice tells it all. The people around him failed him. Side Bar: I never knew about the plot to harm him. That’s INSANITY. 😮 People’s obsession with celebs like they aren’t human is wild to me!

Never was a fan of Bieber but the absolute mocking and condemnation of him *constantly* was a LOT at the time. I always thought he was younger than me based on his appearance but I was in high school when I found out we were the same age and God, I could NOT imagine going through *half* of that fame and drama at 16, 17 years old. Doesn't help that his management at the time was skeevy too and didnt help mentor him woth achieving that international level at such a young age.

Scooter actually tried to set him up with the best support system possible, he knew the type of fame JB was heading for so he tried to do everything he could to protect him and give him a great support system, they even go into detail about it in one of his movies, I think it was the Believe movie. Scooter made sure he had a great support system around him while on tour too, everybody in his circle was either a mentor, a friend, a protector, a big brother, or all of them together, and he still has the majority of those ppl in his life today and still considers them brothers. For a long time his mother came with him everywhere too, interviews, shows, everywhere. If scooter didn’t do that, JB would’ve been so much worse and would’ve went through so much worse, he truly made sure that JB had ppl to lean on and keep him happy and sane. It’s also a business, money needs to be made, so obv scooter is going to make moves so JB can gain money and success, but that’s what managers do, but that doesn’t make him a bad manager.

I think the consumer/fans are partially to blame for the problems these celebrities face. I mean, it's the consumer demanding to know everything. It's the consumer waiting outside their homes and hotels. It's the consumer not respecting any sort of boundaries. It's the consumer still talking about Justin and Selena all these years later. It's the consumer saying nasty things about his wife. There's a supply because there's a demand.. from the consumer. I can't even imagine what that must be like. I can't imagine seeing strangers outside of my house every time I leave. I can't imagine millions of people bringing up my old relationships. I can't imagine millions of people spreading lies about me and not being able to defend myself or when I do im seen as unhinged. I can 100% see how celebrity life would eventually drive someone crazy. And social media has created these parasocial relationships like never before. People feel entitled to celebs and their personal lives like never before. I find it bizarre. I can honestly say I have never been so much of a fan of someone that I tracked them down or spread lies about them to make myself feel better or put another woman down because I wanted to "help" the male celebrity I'm obsessing over get back at her for breaking his heart. It's just so weird to me.

Honestly people are just sick in the head! I’ve never had the fan craziness because I know that they are just people and no different from anyone else. Sometimes they have talent, sometimes they don’t. To use a young man to make up gossip or create drama, is so pathetic and irresponsible. These people are beyond stupid and disgusting, they’re so desperate for attention that they’re willing to ruin another person’s life. I’m not a bieber fan, only because my music taste isn’t his style but I wouldn’t want anyone to try to put him down, just because they really need attention or some form of recognition. It’s beyond disgusting what the industry and adults put him trough when he was just a child. We have way too many clips and interviews where adult middle aged women threw themselves on him and grouped him, and you could just see how terrified he was. I remember leah remini asking him some really disturbing questions in some interview when he was underaged like all his fans. I remember Pink grouping his ass when he was only 16-17 and pink herself was a mother. I just can’t. And the 20-Y OLD WOMAN who tried to say 16-y old justin got him pregnant, just makes me sick. She should have faced more consequences, and her lawyers too! And how far she thought she could take that lie, when just a paternity test would reveal the truth. I can’t with this many sick people.🤮🤯
