I’m 17 now and when I was 16 in 2016, my voice started to crack and now my voice is so low, I can sing songs an octave lower. I’m a bass singer in choir btw.

I was really upset when my voice changed during puberty, and at some point I discovered that while hitting low notes became easier, hitting high notes became harder, and that was really hard for me to adapt to it, I had to get used to sing lower, and not to force myself to sing higher than I practically can. My difficult is attributable to my autism, and it took long to me to accept that I have to sing lower.

16's really not that old for a voice change. I mean, my voice didn't change until 17, 4'11" going into my junior year of high school, left that year at 5'5". It's really depressing when one day you realize as a guy that a high G is a note that isn't gonna happen everyday. I loved my voice when I was 16, singing just as high/higher than most of the girls in choir. Then by senior year the sophomores could sing higher than me again.
